An Edwardian oak cased mantle clock, with single train movement complete with key. Height 20 cm, width 19.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds and is currently ticking away. The pointers adjust as they should. The oak case is in generally good condition with no significant cracks or losses. The dial and glass appear to be in good order. We have the key.
A chinoiserie lacquered mantle clock, with single train movement. Height 14 cm, width 24 cm, depth 7 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement does wind and appears to be ticking away although we have observed it running for any length of time. The dial is not in particularly good order and has several brown stains and should be visible on our image. The brass surround is tarnished. The case is structurally sound but does have some surface scratches and marks and there is some rubbing to the gilding. All brass feet are original and present. The rear door is tarnished.
An early 20th century mantle clock, in the French Empire style with alabaster columns on a rectangular base, eight day striking movement with floral painted white enamel dial. 36 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains. It strikes when manually advanced. It seems to be ticking away but we cannot guarantee accuracy of timekeeping etc. The case is in generally good condition with all metalwork present. There are some minor edge nibbles to the alabaster but no significant losses, major chips or cracks. The dial is a little yellowed around the right-hand facing winding aperture and there are faint hairline cracks running between the numerals 3 and 4 and 4 and 5. There are some chips to the enamel above and to the right of the numeral 2 which have been touched in.
An inlaid mahogany and brass strung Edwardian style mantle clock, with two train movement striking on a gong. Height 30 cm, width 21 cm, depth 15 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This is a pendulum clock. The pendulum is present. The pendulum is not currently fitted as the thin suspension strip is broken. The movement does wind on both trains and strikes when manually advanced. Even without the pendulum in position the movement does seem to tick. The case is in generally good condition with no significant issues. The dial is in good order with no losses or cracks.
