A French alabaster mantle clock, with girl on swing pendulum. Clock height excluding base 18 ins, width 12 ins (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This clock is in generally good, untouched, original condition. The alabaster is in generally good order with only minor edge and surface scuffs. The blue paint around the finial is largely not present. All of the metalwork is in good condition and undamaged. The clock face is in good order. The movement is very dirty but appears to be complete.
A large Victorian black slate mantle clock, with visible brocot escapement. Width 19 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is generally in good order. There is one chip to the rear left corner of the upper moulding of the base. This is approximately 1 inch in length. It is on the underside edge of the moulding. The face and glass are in good order as is the metalware. The clock movement appears to strike correctly but is overwound on the gong side. We do not have a pendulum.
A Mappin & Webb Limited mantle clock, by Elliott Clocks, walnut case, silvered brass dial, captive key wind. Height including carrying handle 9 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is in first class condition. The brass surround to the dial is a little tarnished and has lost some of its lacquered surface. The clock face is in very good condition. The movement appears to be overwound and the clock is not currently ticking.
A Chinoiserie lacquered mantle clock, with pagoda top, silvered brass dial with single-train movement "Astral", London. Height including handle 11.25 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is in generally very good original condition. There are no significant losses, scuffs or damage of any note. The case is simply a little dirty. The same can be said of the dial. The silvering is generally good but the brasswork is a little tarnished. The pointers are original. The brass feet are original. We do not have a key but the clock does wind. The movement appears to be complete and untouched but it is not currently ticking.

A George V silver cased mantle clock, with French single-train movement, Birmingham 1922 and raised on short ball feet. Height 18.5 cm, width 14.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The clock winds and is currently ticking as it should. The glass is in good order and the case is undamaged. The case itself is structurally very solid but does have a number of small dents. These will be evident from our images. The rear of the case is solid oak and again has minor surface scratches and blemishes.
French 19th/20th Century Mantle Clock in brass with lower panel showing a battle scene from the Napoleonic wars period, with a Imperial Guard officer saving a fellow officer and another saving the colours and French eagle when wounded. Ribbon decoration pieces to each side of the clock case. Comes with a key. The movement is maker marked ELIE A PARIS 782.
