Lot 1147
A Victorian boule marquetry mantle clock, with gilt metal mounts and two-train striking movement by Vincenti & Company. Height 11.5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The mantle clock is ticking. The only real issue with the piece is that the rear right hand foot has been replaced with a wooden support. We have the key and pendulum. There is no lifting to the brasswork to the front of the clock. The left hand side has slight lifting but this is not problematic. The right hand side has slight lifting and one 1/2 cm section of brass scrollwork missing. Again this is a minor loss. The dial and ceramic tablets are in good order as is the door and glass face.
