An Edwardian silver mounted mantle clock, Lawrence Emanuel, Birmingham 1902, the circular enamel white dial with Roman numeral markers, set to a plain polished silver case of waisted balloon form, with engraved lettering and crest to front 'Christ Church Strangers Race, 1906, 1 mile handicap 1st S. Worthington' clock 20cm high, within a fitted associated purple and blue velvet 'R.S Rowell' case Condition report: Clock currently not ticking. Both keys present. Dents seen to top of clock (see images) Discolouration and tarnishing seen throughout. Pin to one of the legs of clock is sticking out (see images) Silver mount is slightly coming away from clock movement and body (see images) Presence of residue silver polish. Compartment cover revealing clock movement is at fault. Outer velvet case is worn throughout high points, and shows impressed marks where clock has been pushed against lining.Hands can be adjusted however the winding mechanism appears to be stuck and is going to require attention
