An attractive late 19th Century marble and ormolu mounted pillar Mantle Clock, by Samuel Marti, Paris, the top with an urn shaped finial flanked by bouquets of flowers with a central painted enamel dial over a support with four column supports on a shaped platform base with turned ormolu feet, approx. 45cms (18"). A 19th Century gilt bronze Mantle Clock, Woppenheim, Paris, in the Adams taste, the top with an urn shaped finial embellished with rams head handles flanked by grotesque masks with a central enamel and blue painted Roman numeral dial with inset painted porcelain panels on platform base and turned feet, approx. 38cms (15") h. A French striking eight day ormolu mounted white marble mantle clock swathed with floral wreathes and surmounted with a gilt cast figure of a loosely clad lady with garlands and birds. The clock serial number 1352 under a bird in flight motif. The casting to the frame bears the name Mourey with serial number 9465 encased in a glass dome on stand, height 52cm

Paris, surmounted with cherubs reading under an oil lamp above a white and blue enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, on a scroll and rockwork base. 42cm wide, 36cm high; together with a French Empire style mahogany and gilt metal mounted mantle clock and a Victorian porcelain framed mantle clock, decorated in green, peach and gilt tones, 38cm high.
