A French striking eight day ormolu mounted white marble mantle clock swathed with floral wreathes and surmounted with a gilt cast figure of a loosely clad lady with garlands and birds. The clock serial number 1352 under a bird in flight motif. The casting to the frame bears the name Mourey with serial number 9465 encased in a glass dome on stand, height 52cm

Paris, surmounted with cherubs reading under an oil lamp above a white and blue enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, on a scroll and rockwork base. 42cm wide, 36cm high; together with a French Empire style mahogany and gilt metal mounted mantle clock and a Victorian porcelain framed mantle clock, decorated in green, peach and gilt tones, 38cm high.
