British Railways Eastern Region 6 inch mahogany cased mantle clock. The original dial shows BR(E) 13848 and SMITH EMPIRE MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. The mahogany case retains its original cast brass bezel. The Smiths 7 day going barrel movement with platform escapement is in good working condition. The LNER clock records show this clock as last being in use at Doncaster Stores Tech Storekeepers Office. Comes complete with key and a copy of the clock record. Measures 10.5in x 9.25in x 3.75in deep.
