Some drying and cracking to veneers. Some chips and scratches. Some losses to veneers, particularly to edges of side apertures. A crack and a small hole to side. A horizontal crack and split to wood and veneers across front. Dial with yellowing, scuffs, scratches and some chips to enamel.

Inner rear door with scuffs and wear. Replacement hinges to rear door. movement with aged wear. Some wear to silvered chapter ring and subsidiary dials. Matter centre dirty with some small areas of dark staining. Silvered arch surround with surface scratches - with key. Please see photos. Total weight approx 18.75kg (41.5 lbs). Approx dimensions - height to top of finial 68cm, width at widest point across feet 36cm, depth at widest point across feet 36cm. Across dial 16cm.

Front door has split to bottom edge and hole to right hand edge - see photos for detail. String pull works but hammer missing the gong. Silvered chapter ring worn. Metal work tarnished. A rosewood cased Chinese mantle clock, the circular enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals to a brass backplate profusely engraved with floral scrolls, with apertures for Chinese script to a twin train movement housed within a glazed fronted case on trestle end supports with foliage fretwork decoration, 50 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Wear, scuffs and scratches, and dirt. Some wooden peg type joints appear to be loose and/or missing. Some small chips. Back panel slides upwards to remove, and is a little loose and has some chips/losses. Enamelled dial with hairline cracks to the enamel. Overall appearance of clock, however, appears reasonably good. It is not known whether or not clock is in working order.
