A Victorian mahogany cased mantle clock, the pagoda shaped top over a circular painted dial with Roman numerals and eight day movement, raised on squat bun feet, 44 cm high CONDITION REPORTS General wear and scuffs. Some drying and cracking to veneers. Some chips and scratches. Some losses to veneers, particularly to edges of side apertures. A crack and a small hole to side. A horizontal crack and split to wood and veneers across front. Dial with yellowing, scuffs, scratches and some chips to enamel.

A Victorian ebonised and brass mounted cased musical mantle clock with pagoda top and pineapple finials over a glazed door flanked by caryatid pilasters on a plinth base with scrolling feet, housing an eight day three train movement with arched dial, silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals inscribed "Page, Keen & Page, Plymouth", surmounted by chime silent dial, slow/fast dial and Westminster chimes/chime striking eight bells, 68 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Case - dirty with white marks to caddy top - possibly paint. Inner rear door with scuffs and wear. Replacement hinges to rear door. movement with aged wear. Some wear to silvered chapter ring and subsidiary dials. Matter centre dirty with some small areas of dark staining. Silvered arch surround with surface scratches - with key. Please see photos. Total weight approx 18.75kg (41.5 lbs). Approx dimensions - height to top of finial 68cm, width at widest point across feet 36cm, depth at widest point across feet 36cm. Across dial 16cm.

A Victorian ebonised cased and gilt metal mounted mantle clock in the 18th Century manner, the arched case flanked by pineapple finials over a glazed door flanked by Corinthian capitals on bracket feet, the eight day three train movement striking on eight bells, the arched dial with silvered chapter ring and Arabic and Roman numerals surmounted by chime silent dial and Cambridge chimes/chime dial, 47 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Case - dirty with spots and scuffs particularly around the base. Front door has split to bottom edge and hole to right hand edge - see photos for detail. String pull works but hammer missing the gong. Silvered chapter ring worn. Metal work tarnished. Inner rear door with scuffs to edges. Rear door with replacement splint and scuffing - with two keys SEE PHOTOS

A circa 1900 rosewood and cut brass inlaid mantle clock, the circular enamel dial with Roman numerals to a battery operated movement housed within an octagonal outer case with patinated brass ring handles on a rectangular base, inlaid with an equestrian scene, flanked by side drawer on brass ball feet, 53 cm high (original movement in drawer)

A rosewood cased Chinese mantle clock, the circular enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals to a brass backplate profusely engraved with floral scrolls, with apertures for Chinese script to a twin train movement housed within a glazed fronted case on trestle end supports with foliage fretwork decoration, 50 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Wear, scuffs and scratches, and dirt. Some wooden peg type joints appear to be loose and/or missing. Some small chips. Back panel slides upwards to remove, and is a little loose and has some chips/losses. Enamelled dial with hairline cracks to the enamel. Overall appearance of clock, however, appears reasonably good. It is not known whether or not clock is in working order.

THE CLOCK HAVING A BRONZE FIGURE OF A SEATED WINGED CHERUB HOLDING A BOOK NEXT TO A SARCOPHAGUS BRONZE CASED MOVEMENT HAVING ORMULU SCULPTURED MOUNTS DEPICTING CLASSICAL SCENES WITH LION FOOTED PILLARS TO FRONT IN THE FORM OF A WINGED MYTHOLOGICAL BEAST, BOTH FIGURE AND CLOCK SITTING ON A WHITE STEPPED MARBLE PLINTH HAVING ORMULU BEADED MOUNTS WITH GREEN MARBLE INLAID PANELS TO FRONT ON ORMULU PAD FEET, THE WHITE ENAMEL CLOCK FACE HAVING ROYAL BLUE ROMAN NUMERALS WITH RA TO THE XII NAMED FX DENTS, APPROX.
