A late Victorian black slate and marble mantle clock, by Bennett Cheapside, London, with two train striking movement. Height 43 cm, width 28 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains. We have the pendulum but no key. We have not had the movement running for any length of time but it does appear to be ticking away and striking when advanced. This is no guarantee that it will run for the full 8 days. The dial is in generally good order as is the surround and door. It snaps shut as it should. The case itself is in generally good condition but does have some small chips and minor edge nibbles to the slate.
A 19th century French rosewood cased mantle clock by FL Hausburg Paris, with two train spring driven movement. Height excluding carrying handle 24 cm, width 17 cm, depth 13 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The clock winds on both trains when the arms are advanced it appears to strike. The clock has not run consistently but we have the pendulum. There is wear around both winding holes as you would expect with age. The enamelled dial appears in good condition. The glass front closes comfortably. The case and back door are in generally good condition with some wear and tear commensurate with age.
An Art Deco walnut and ebonised mantle clock, square dial with Roman numerals and with French made single train movement. Height 15 cm, width 25 cm, depth 8 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds and appears to be ticking away. We have the key. The hands advance as they should. The case is in generally good condition with no significant issues.
