An Edwardian inlaid mahogany mantle clock, with circular dial with Arabic numerals flanked by brass columns and raised on four brass bracket feet. Width 16.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds and is currently ticking away but does stop after +/- 30 seconds. It is perhaps a little dry. The case is in generally good condition with no issues. the clock face is also in good order with no cracks. All brasswork is original, and although a little tarnished, in very good order.
A 19th century French boule marquetry mantle clock, with two-train striking movement, the backplate stamped "A & N, Paris". Height 34 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is generally very dirty and dusty. The boule marquetry is generally in good order with no significant lifting and only very minor losses to the brass and tortoiseshell. There are no losses to the caddy top, the front or the right-hand sides. On the lower section of the left-hand side there are some very small pieces of brass missing. The movement winds on both trains and is currently ticking away and striking when advanced. The ceramic numeral markers are in good order with only slight discolouration on numeral 11. All brasswork is a little tarnished and dirty. The rear door is present and original.
An Edwardian mahogany mantle clock, with arched boxwood strung case and with fan medallion, two-train movement, Arabic numerals. Width 21.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains and appears to be ticking away and striking when advanced. There are some hairline cracks to the dial to the right of the numeral 2. These are largely obscured by the brass bezel but are visible on close inspection. There are minor nibbles around the winding apertures. The clock case is in generally good condition with no significant issues.
