A Victorian black slate mantle clock, of architectural form, the circular dial with Roman numerals and insight movement, striking on a bell, 40.5cm high x 16cm deep x 28cm wide, approximately 20kg CONDITION REPORT: None of the clocks and watches are sold as working, It has a pendulum but no key, Hairline crack to dial, the case is chipped on the raised edges, in used condition
A 19th century Boulle style mantle clock, the enamelled dial with Arabic numerals and eight day movement. Height 24.8 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds and appears to be ticking away. The pointers adjust as they should. The dial is in good condition. All metalwork is present. The brass marquetry is very slightly lifting in places but there do not appear to be any areas of any significant loss. The brasswork above the numeral 1 has lifted a little more significantly and is twisted. All feet and all metal mounts are present. The ebonised case is a little scratched and marked in paces but has no significant issues. The rear dust cover and key are present.
An Edwardian Big Ben mantle clock, oak cased and with single train movement. Height 58.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds and is currently ticking. The glass face is in good order. The movement dial is good order. The case itself is in reasonable condition but does have some minor losses. The very top finial is rubbed. The moulding beneath the top dome has a loss to the left hand corner. Both front clock pillars have losses to the top of each finial. There is a loss to the bottom turned moulding on the right hand side of the side turning. The case other than this is in generally good order with only minor blemishes.
A continental (possibly German) arched mahogany cased mantle clock, with three train movement and striking on a gong, retailed by Jays, with inlaid marquetry decoration, the round silvered dial with black Roman numbers and hands and marked '142 Jays 144 Oxford Street, London', on bun feet, early 1900's, 43.6cm high (max)
