Magic Comic 1 (1939) D. C. Thomson. Koko The Pup by E H Banger, Peter Piper by Dudley Watkins. This third title from The Beano and Dandy stable only lasted for eighty issues until 1941 due to wartime shortages of paper and dyestuffs.
