SIR KYFFIN WILLIAMS RA watercolour and pencil - head and shoulders portrait of an Anglesey girl with short fair hair called Colleen, entitled verso 'School Girl', signed with initials, 38 x 28cms Provenance: four letters to accompany the painting including one from the artist dated 11.3.03, which recalls his visit, in around 1995, to Ysgol Parc y Bont in Llanddaniel in Anglesey, the school where he drew the initial portraits of Colleen and other fellow pupils. Also another letter from the then head-teacher at the school with further details about Colleen and other portrait works by Sir Kyffin that were based upon her portrait. The third and fourth letters are between the vendor and the school office
R W MILLIKEN "Red Grouse in flight with mountainous backdrop", watercolour, signed lower right CONDITION REPORTS Has a couple of areas of foxing mainly to the centre sky, there is a pinky coloured circular mark to the bottom left hand corner, unknown if this is later damage or done whilst painting, other wise general wear and tear conducive with age and use. The mount has some discolouration etc and the frame has knocks and bumps - see images for further details. Image approx 36 cms x 50 cmss. Framed is approximately 57 cms x 69 cms
An interesting watercolour painting by Harold Herbert Holden (Born 1885) RWS, ARCA (Lond.) latterly of Westbury On Trim, Bristol. This framed and glazed watercolour from the mid 20th century depicts a river with great turbulence and much white foaming rapid waters. Measures 30cm high x 38cm wide.
Believed FW Burton ( 1855 - ) A 19th century watercolour painting of a robed mother and child in a seated position within interior of structure. Signed in pencil to the verso and mounted with remains of glue to outer edges of mount. This and other sketches coming from a private vendor who believes this was his grandfather. Measures 31cms x 22cms
Believed FW Burton ( 1855 -) ? A watercolour on card painting of Moorish - North African Maghreb warrior soldiers on war horses. Painted in greyscale colours, the card unsigned however coming from a series of sketches ( see other lots ) being monogrammed or signed FW Burton - FWB. The sketches coming from a private vendor who believes this was his grandfather. Measures 27.5 x 19.5cms

Attributed to George Engleheart (1750 - 1829), watercolour on ivory - miniature portrait of a Gentleman, with curled powdered hair and red coat with white cravat, 6.4cm x 5cm, oval, in glazed gilt frame with suspension loop, presented in a D S Lavender silk lined folding case CONDITION REPORT Not examined out of frame. Wear to far outer edge, otherwise painting appears to be in good order. Some tarnishing/wear to reverse of gilt frame
