An oak monk’s bench, in the 17th century style, the carved rectangular back depicting 17th century genre scene and surmounted with two busts, head and shoulders, modelled as men in hats, above a hinged and carved seat and a conforming panel below with central lion mask issuing scrolling foliage, flanked with pilasters carved with fruit swags, 45” (115cms).
