A 19th century painted pine bench. Height to top of back 78 cm, length 247 cm, depth 31 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The bench is structurally fairly sound and serviceable. The back is a little loose in the joints and there is some movement. The legs are also slightly loose. The bench is very rustic and has numerous losses, scratches, scuffs and marks to the paintwork and timbers. The legs all have wear to the extremities. There are some traces of old woodworm but this appears long gone and we do not believe it to be currently active. The woodworm holes are barely evident from the front and more visible on the back seat planks and upright supports.
