‘COALBROOKDALE’; A CAST IRON GARDEN BENCHWith diamond registration and pattern number '90929', 125cm wide; 79cm high Note: This pattern bench with the cast iron slats on the seats was made specifically for the export market and to be shipped to the colonies. It was registered and patented by the Coalbrookdale Foundry in 1853 at the Public Records Office, and number 20 in their catalogue.
Two 0 Gauge/ 1 Gauge Continental Stations by Bub and Kibri, the Bub example in lithographed cream with green trim and red roofs, two-storey central building with single-storey wings, F, gable clockface and telegraph rack missing, some fading to green printed areas, surface rusting to platform, several minor damages to roof corners, together with a mask-painted Kibri station (a little larger so suitable for 0 or 1 gauge trains), with two two-storey buildings with refreshment/newsagent's kiosks, joined by a covered veranda with bench, brickwork in yellow and green, ramp to left end of platform and fences to each end of building, G, various paper advertisements applied with glue, would benefit from cleaning (2)
An oak six-plank coffer,17th century, the front with incised geometric roundels and floral decoration, on bench end supports, 99cm wide41cm deep65cm highCondition report: The top with characterful losses to the front edge. One split pin hinge and one later strap hinge, with leather additions. Knocks, scratches, splits, wear and losses throughout. Lock mechanism removed. Joints solid.
A French provincial sycamore kitchen table,19th century, the plank top with two extra leaves above a shaped apron, with drawers to each end and one to one side, raised on splayed supports,208cm wide79cm deep78cm high,together with a pair of cherry wood benches (3)Condition report: General knocks. Surface wear, scratches and wear. Splits to top. Joints slightly loose. Some wobble. Chips and losses to supports. Traces of worm. Evidence of repair beneath. Losses and rotting to the feet. Bench tops and feet possibly associated. Some wobble in one. General surface wear, knocks and losses commensurate with age and use. Central drawer is stuck.
