A 17th century and later oak marriage bench / settle, the pannelled back and seat carved with Coats of Arms, Biblical scenes and verse, with scrolled arms, lift up seat, approx 144cm wide x 142cm high x 56cm deep Note: the Arms are thought to be those of Bromley & Longueville for John and Elizabeth, married circa 1658 (Elizabeth daughter of Sir Henry Longueville of Wolverton)
