A rare and interesting percussion revolving-carbine by Reilly dating: third quarter of the 19th Centuryprovenance: EnglandOctagonal, rifled, 8.7 mm cal. barrel, with foresight and rear-sight consisting of two hinged pieces, marked "REILLYS IMPROVED" and "NEW OXFORD St. LONDON" at the upper part, at the lower one the mark "REILLY" and stamps of London test bench; smooth, six-shot cylinder, numbered chambers and stamps of London test bench; the frame finely engraved with racemes and ornamental frames, the hammer at the back slightly off-centre; the frame is also provided with a protective ring-nut for the nipples. Wooden butt with checkered neck, provided with a primer case at the lower part, with steel butt-plate engraved en suite with the frame. On the left side of the weapon is the cartridge rammer. Interesting mechanic, while firing the cylinder slides forward touching the barrel, so the firing chamber is sealed to the barrel. This weapon, with related article, appears on "Diana Armi" magazine no. 8 August 2013 (one copy attached).dimensions: length 96 cm.

A rare pair of "duck's foot" pocket pistols with four barrels dating: circa 1800provenance: EnglandEach one provided with four smooth, turn-off, iron, 8 mm cal. barrels, slightly different. The barrels of one of the pistols are numbered from "1" to "4", the other from "5" to "8". Brass frames, at the lower part stamps of Birmingham test bench and numbers en suite with the barrels, with box-lock type flintlock mechanic, with batterie and hammer at the back, both made of iron, the hammer provided with external safety lock. The sides engraved with trophies and marked "HILL" and "LONDON", iron trigger guards engraved with trophies. Smooth, wooden stocks with flattened sides and oblique borders.dimensions: length 19 cm.
