Manner of Charles & Ray Eames fibreglass, chrome and wooden feet pink tub rocking chair, by Modernica, Los Angeles (stamped underneath). Note: Designed by Charles Eames in 1950 the 'Moulded Shell Chair' was produced by Herman Miller in various forms such as the bench version or 'Eiffel-Tower' base version. In 2014 Herman Miller and Modernica were engaged in a legal dispute and there is still an ongoing debate. Herman Miller retains the 'Eames' name while Modernica have been using Eames' original chair moulds since 1999.
