Circlet inscribed LOYAL LINCOLN VOLUNTEER; seeded gilt centre with silver crown over 81. Universal pattern rococo ends. Some toning to gilt, non matching bench marks. GC

Circlet inscribed ROYAL MEATH MILITIA; seeded centre mounted with shamrock in relief ornamented with small shamrock sprays. Universal pattern rococo ends. Headquarters at Limerick, became 5th Bn. GC Raised 1763 at Castlebar; 1817 HQ at Ballina; circa 1855 redesignated North Mayo Fusiliers Militia. 1.7.1881 merged with the South Mayo Militia as 3rd Bn Connaught Rangers.
