Egerton Banks. Austin thanks his correspondent for their letter and adds that he 'shall be pleased to have a chat with you at some time in the early future', concluding 'No doubt we shall meet when I come to London'. Some light staining and age wear and several paperclip rust stains to the upper and lower edges, not affecting the text or signature. Together with William Morris (1877-1963) 1st Viscount Nuffield. British Motor Manufacturer, founder of Morris Motors Ltd. T.L.S., Nuffield, one page, small 4to, Cowley, Oxford, 4th June 1934, to the Duchess of Marlborough ('My dear Duchess'), on the printed stationery of Morris Motors Ltd. Nuffield thanks his correspondent for her letter and continues 'What I propose to do in the first place, is to send my own Mechanic to Blenheim to have a look at the car so that subsequently, if found desirable, he can bring it here and attend to it', also explaining that there may be a slight delay, and concluding 'I think the best procedure then will be for me to write to you and give you an idea of the approximate cost of overhaul'.
