One of only 799, this ultra low mileage 'Tour de France' is finished in a rather stylish colour combination. The F12 Berlinetta is the ultimate front-engined, rear-wheel drive Grand Tourer from Ferrari and made its debut at the 2012 Geneva Show featuring one of Ferrrari’s last naturally-aspirated V12 6.3-litre engines which delivered 740bhp with an impressive 690 Nm of torque offering 0-62mph in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211mph.In October 2015, Ferrari announced a limited-edition variant, the F12tdf, its nomenclature referencing a competition variant of the 250 GT, so named following the latter's many victories in the Tour de France Automobile in the late 1950s/early 1960s. Like its illustrious predecessor, the F12tdf was a lightweight, track-focused model aimed at wealthy connoisseurs and gentleman racers and only 799 were built during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. The F12tdf utilised the same 6.3-litre V12 engine as the standard car, albeit modified by the addition of mechanical tappets and variable-geometry intake trumpets, to produce in excess of 770bhp. 110kg of weight was saved by the use of carbon fibre and fastidious use of lightweight materials for every element of the car. Every aspect of the car was assessed, from the narrow-section five-spoke wheels to the single-piece carbon door cards and even the passenger glovebox was considered unnecessary weight and therefore removed. The body, too, was reconsidered and featured state-of-the-art active aerodynamics that helped generate an 80% increase in downforce at 120mph, as well as unique design elements that paid tribute to the great Ferraris of the past, the most obvious being the 250 GTO–inspired slots over the rear haunches. The chassis, already considered to be excellent by road-car standards, was improved with the introduction of a rear-wheel steering system known as ‘Virtual Short Wheelbase’ to complement the dramatically widened front track and existing electronic control systems (ESC, ABS/EBD, F1-Trac and SSC 3). The result was a reduction of the 0-100 kph time to 2.9 seconds, top speed was now in excess of 340 kph and around Fiorano, the F12tdf was 2.0 seconds quicker than its standard sibling.According to the accompanying paperwork, this Ferrari F12 Tdf (Type F152 ACL), Chassis No. ZFF81BHT 6H0224560 was built during January 2017 in left-hand drive as a Gulf version i.e. subject to the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) Homologation requirements and destined for Kuwait. In common with many very special Ferraris, the order was routed through Ferrari’s Atelier Studio which offeried a remarkable level of personalisation and there is a list (in English) of the selected options on a plaque within the car. The special order (extracampionario) exterior colour selected was Argento Auteil with the interior mainly in Cuoio (natural leather) with Nero detailing. There is a full list from Ferrari of all the bespoke details and they include carbon fibre (CF) air filter covers, CF engine bay covers, Ferrari telemetry and track cameras, 20-inch diamond-forged wheels, aluminium brake calipers, Daytona racing seats, a number of alcantara and leather interior bespoke options, adaptive front lights, front suspension lifter, navigation maps, front and rear cameras, hi-power premium hi-fi system and integrated audio system and much more. The car is also accompanied by its ‘Attestato per vetture Serie speciali’ (Attestation for Special series vehicles) dated 8th February 2017 in a stylish sleeved yellow presentation folder showing its journey through the factory when being built and confirming its technical spec. The Ferrari was imported to the UK and first registered here on 1st April 2018, according to its UK V5C, and further documentation including Kuwaiti Registration papers, Kuwaiti Vehicle Quittance and export certificates, HMRC vehicle import post clearance checks, an invoice from Cars UK detailing UK Import Tax of £93,647 and DVLA confirmation of the car’s new UK registration number (LJ66 KFZ).The F12 has been enjoying life in London and, at the time of cataloguing, was displaying an odometer reading of around 1,275km (795 miles). There are a couple of invoices from Rosso Corsa in Milan at 890 km and 1,086 km respectively and one from Dick Lovett in Swindon for £2,779 dated 15th July 2021 at 1,200km covering a routine service, four new Pirellis, an air-con service and a fresh MOT (valid until 8th July 2022). Representing a wonderful opportunity to own one of Ferrari's all-time great, front-engined supercars, this stunning ‘Atelier bespoke’ F12tdf comes complete with its tool kit, locking wheel nut key, service wallet and manuals, and the all-important F12tdf ‘Attestato'. As might be expected of such a low-mileage, one-owner car, this unique F12tdf presents superbly and is, without doubt, the ultimate front-engined Ferrari supercar and a true modern-day collectible that will continue to be held in high esteem by collectors and enthusiasts for years to come..SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: F12Year: 2017Chassis Number: ZFF81BHT6H0224560Registration Number: LJ66 KFZEngine Number: 34880Drive Side: Left-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 1275 KMMake: LHDInterior Colour: Cuoio AlcantaraClick here for more details and images

Grant, South African Aviation Corps, attached 26 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps; he served as a Captain in the 2nd Transvaal Scottish during the Second War and was captured at Tobruk in June 1942 Distinguished Conduct Medal, G.V.R. Grant’, mounted court-style for wearing, good very fine (7) £3,000-£4,000 --- D.C.M. London Gazette 26 May 1917; and Union Defence Force Orders No. 169 for December 1917 ‘His perseverance and devotion to duty under trying conditions have been an example to all, and the efficiency of his flight has been largely due to his skill and example.’ M.I.D. London Gazette 8 February 1917: Despatch from Lieut.-General The Hon. J. C. Smuts, Commander-in-Chief, East African Forces, dated 22 November 1916, ‘For Meritorious Service in the Field.’ David Grant was born at Kirkhill, Invernesshire, Scotland, on 13 May 1883, and was educated at Dingwall Academy, Rosshire. ‘A veteran as much in the sphere of aviation as in the province of motoring, Mr. David Grant, D.C.M., dates his association with the latter from the beginning of the century... Adopting the career of a motor mechanic he started with the Daimler Motor Company of Coventry, as a premium apprentice, in 1901. He passed through the various shops and in due course became a test driver, and was engaged on many of Daimler’s early hill-climbing competitions and trials. The distinction of having driven motor vehicles without a licence and without any infringement of the law is his, since he drove cars in England for two years before the issue of driving licences came into force. Indeed he holds driving licence No. 7, dated January, 1904, and issued in Staffordshire. He also obtained French, Swiss, and German driving licences in 1905. Up to the year 1910, he engaged in a considerable amount of Continental touring, the greater part of which was done with Daimlers. It was during this period that he had the honour of driving the late King Edward VII, and was presented with a diamond pin in recognition of his services on that occasion. He came to South Africa in 1910, and except for the interruption of the Great War, when he proceeded overseas, he has been a member of the staff of the Rand Mines, Central Mining Group, ever since. In July, 1915, he joined the South African Aviation Corps - went to England and trained at Farnborough and Netherhaven. Posted to No. 26 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps, he returned to Africa and served through the German East African Campaign, until invalided out with blackwater fever. Mr. Grant, who has been a member of the Automobile Association of South Africa since its inception (his badge number id 68), has been closely identified with the South African motor industry from 1910 until the present time. He is, too, a member of the Motor Vehicle Advisory Committee to the Administrator of the Transvaal; an appointment he has occupied since 1928. Motoring is his hobby, and his favourite sport is golf.’ (Personalities in South African Motoring and Aviation, circa 1935, refers). In 1939, Grant was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 2nd Battalion of the Transvaal Scottish Regiment and, following the mobilization of the regiment in 1940, became its Transport Officer. Promoted Lieutenant and then Captain on 19 November 1940, he proceeded up North with the battalion in 1941 but, unfortunately, suffered a heart attack and went into the Tobruk Hospital shortly before the fall of Tobruk in June 1942, thus landing up in the Italian P.O.W. Camp Hospital in Caserta. Subsequently, by way of an exchange of prisoners of war he returned to South Africa in a Hospital Ship, arriving back in Durban early in May 1943, and was in due course invalided out of the Army. Soon after leaving the Army he was retired from the service of Rand Mines and retired to Meerhof, Hartesbeespoort Dam, where he died from an angina attack on 23 November 1950. On 10 July 1952, his ashes were interred in the cemetery at Kirkhill, Scotland. No. 26 (South African) Squadron was originally formed for service in East Africa, being manned by personnel who had previously served in the South African Aviation Corps. It formed on 8 November 1915, at Netheravon, leaving in December for Africa. Arriving at Mobmassa at the end of January 1916, it was equipped with BE2c and Farman aircraft. It provided support to Imperial Forces engaged against the German East African colonies throughout 1916 and 1917, until early 1918 when it returned to the United Kingdom. Sold with copied research including Attestation and service papers.

BSA M21 600cc engined replica AA CombinationReg. no. VXO 255Frame no. ZB31 2044Engine no. BM21. A. 13567 (The ‘A’ stands for alternator fitted)Automobile Association Combinations used to be a common sight on British roads giving assistance to the motoring public. First used in 1919 the ’Mechanical First Aid Outfits’ as they were known as then, carried tools, fuel and spare parts to assist the stranded motorist. They also warned drivers of the presence of Police speed traps. Chater-Lea and Triumphs were the first manufacturers used but BSA soon became the standard outfit with M21s being specially built for sidecar work. This bike is a replica AA combination, assembled from parts for display in a private collection and uses a very well-made replica box sidecar sourced from the AA museum that was specially made for the 1968 BBC comedy sitcom ‘The Last Salute’. The owner at the time maintained and used the vehicle from 1999 on a private estate until mid-2006 when it was sold to the current owner who again used it sparingly and kept it as part of a large collection and it is now being sold as part of the deceased estate. The bike has not been run for some time.Comes with – a current V5C, a large history file, a description of the TV programme and a Bonhams auction description from approximately 2006/07.
1908 Renault Model VI 20/30 Landaulette Transmission: manualMileage:Founded by Louis Renault and his brothers Marcel and Fernand in 1898, the company that would become France's biggest automobile manufacturer started humbly enough, with a solitary 1¾hp De Dion-engined prototype, the sprung rear axle of which would soon be copied by many contemporaries. Production at the Billancourt factory was soon under way on a large scale, demand for its products being enhanced by the performance of Renault cars in the great inter-city races so popular in France at the turn of the 19th Century. From the outset Renault engineering was of the highest quality and the arrival of multi-cylinder models really put the company on the map. By 1904 Renault was building its own engines: large-capacity fours at first, followed by the AX twin that later developed into the AG, famous for its WWI role as the 'Taxi de la Marne'. Messrs Renault and Frères exhibited five different models at Olympia in 1905, ranging from the twin-cylinder 8/12hp AX to the four-cylinder 35/45hp model. The 14/20hp was powered by a conventional, four-cylinder side valve engine of a little over three litres capacity, and featured the traditional Renault 'coal-scuttle' bonnet, rear-mounted radiator, semi-elliptic suspension, rear-wheel brakes, cone clutch and a three-speed gearbox. This model was still in the range in 1909 as the 'BX', although the days of its 'paired cylinders' engine were numbered, and by this time was being built with a four-speed gearbox. This 20/30 VB model is a very well-presented example indeed. Fitted with its original body, which was built by Stareys & Woolleys of Nottingham, the Renault looks superb and has a wonderful patina throughout. Included in the sale is a sizeable history file containing invoices going back to the 1960's. The leather at the rear is believed to be original as is the majority of the vehicle with stamps on the body dated early 1900's. In very good running condition the Renault comes from a private collection and is ready to be used immediately.
1971 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:83002By the mid-1960s, the Jaguar E-Type was appealing to the man with a young family but who were restricted by the size of the current Jaguar E-Type Coupé and its open topped sibling. This prompted Jaguar to offer a third option in the form of a 2+2 Coupé. By adding nine inches to the wheelbase and two inches in height, it was then possible to fit a rear seat capable of seating two adults in tolerable comfort. Of course the rear seat was more suited to children or, as 'The Motor' put it at the time, the car could 'extend Dad's youth for another seven years'. Robert Bell in Motor was quoted as saying at the time that all we expected to try was a new engine but what in fact we drove was a new car. Not a yowling, aggressive Ferrari-like machine with which, perhaps, most people associate a V12 engine but a very smooth, quiet and refined grand touring sports car. This superb V12 Coupé is an original right hand drive matching numbers example presented in Signal Red with black leather interior. Its 5.3 litre engine is mated to a manual gearbox and its general condition throughout can be considered to be extremely good. Its Heritage certificate shows that it was originally despatched to the Automobile Centre in Leeds on 7th September 1971, painted white and registered AD 69. The car underwent a comprehensive restoration in the 1980s, at which point its colour changed to red and a new bonnet was fitted. This wonderful E-type was also re-sprayed in the mid-2000s to bring the bodywork up to standard and much of the chrome was also replaced, including new headlight crowns, front grille and stainless steel bumpers. The car is fitted with power steering and is a joy to drive. It comes with a substantial history file including its Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate and is ready to be enjoyed.
1973 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI Transmission: manualMileage:46399Introduced alongside the Silver Cloud II and Bentley S2 in the Autumn of 1959, Rolls-Royce's new limousine model, the long-wheelbase Phantom V, effectively replaced both the royalty/heads-of-state-only Phantom IV and the Silver Wraith. The latter's relatively short wheelbase (for a limousine) had made it all but impossible for coachbuilders to provide adequate boot space in a comfortable seven-seater automobile, a shortcoming addressed by the Phantom V. Rolls-Royce's in-house coachbuilder Park Ward Limited (later Mulliner Park Ward) produced what was, in effect, the 'standard' seven-passenger limousine coachwork for the Phantom V. This timeless design would survive until 1990, being built in near identical Phantom VI form from 1968, when separate air conditioning for front and rear compartments was standardised together with the Silver Shadow specification 6230cc V8 engine. The usual upholstery for the front compartment was leather, which was also included in the list of alternatives for the rear along with West of England cloth. As one would expect in a car of this class, a cocktail cabinet incorporated into the rear compartment's cabinetwork was one of a host of options that also included electric windows and air conditioning.Supplied new in Shell Grey with black leather front seats and Fawn West of England trim for the passengers, a combination still present today and in very good order. This coachbuilt example was supplied new to Hong Kong by Metro-Dodwell motors to the Fook Luk Sau Trading co. and delivered to the Miramar Hotel in Hong Kong in May 1974. Featuring a glass divide and drinks cabinet boasting crystal glassware, still in lovely condition today, this Phantom VI would have been and still is the height of luxury. Despite a discount of 17% the first owner paid £13,898.10 including shipping and insurance in July of 1973. This can all be found in the history file containing build sheet, order, shipping details and insurance. Interestingly, during production a last-minute request was submitted to change the colour to Acrylic White but Rolls-Royce denied this. However, they did allow safety belts to be added to the front seats. What better way to be driven than in a car that is trusted by dignitaries and Royals alike.INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD NOTE THAT THERE IS NO V5 WITH THE SALE OF THIS LOT, THE V5 HAS BEEN APPLIED FOR AND EXPECTED IN THE COMING WEEKS, ONCE THE DVLA HAVE SUPPLIED THIS IT WILL BE FORWARDED ONTO THE NEW OWNER IN DUE COURSE. (TO CONFIRM ALL TAXES ARE PAID)Interested parties please note that the estimate on this car is now £50,000-£70,000.
2004 Jaguar XJR Transmission: automaticMileage:55794The Jaguar XJ (X350) is a luxury saloon manufactured between 2003-2009 as the third generation of the Jaguar XJ saloon "” carrying the internal designation X350. Both the X350 and X358 were available with a six-speed automatic transmission, a range of petrol and diesel engines (V6, V8 and supercharged V8), numerous trim levels "” and short wheelbase (2003-2009) or long wheelbase (2005-2009) configurations. The X350 was noted for its advanced electrical systems, self-levelling adaptive air suspension and full aluminium unibody chassis and bodywork, among the first for a mass-produced automobile. The bodyshell was 40 percent lighter and 50 percent stiffer than its predecessor, despite its increased overall size. This superb example was imported from Japan in 2018, is presented in black with a very attractive black/claret leather interior which looks superb, electric sunroof, climate control, adaptive cruise control, premium sound system, electric heated memory seats, electric folding mirrors, rear stereo controls built into central armrest. It is fitted with the powerful and most desirable 4.2 litre Supercharged V8, giving it fantastic performance! This superior Jaguar also comes with full service history with nine invoices in the file and also comes with its original books.
1998 Evante Convertible Series I Transmission: manualMileage:33644Renowned worldwide for its successful racing engines, the Spalding-based firm of Vegantune diversified into car making in the early 1980s with the Lotus Elan-inspired Evante, a separate company - Evante Cars Ltd - being set up to handle its manufacture. Although Elan-like in appearance, the glassfibre-bodied Evante employed a stronger, tubular-steel spaceframe chassis rather than the Lotus's backbone type and was powered by Vegantune's own Ford-based VTA twin-cam engine. Producing 170bhp and 140lb/ft of torque from its 1.7 litres, this engine, with its belt-driven camshafts and accessible water pump, was reckoned much easier to maintain than the Lotus version. Only produced to individual customer order, the Evante failed to weather the late 1980s recession. After only a limited number had been made, the operation was sold to a consortium of Spalding businessmen, who continued production of the Evante 140TC. In the autumn of 1992, Evante was sold to another specialist vehicle manufacturer - Newark-based Fleur De Lys Automobile Manufacturing Limited - which re-engineered the chassis to accept the 1.8 litre Ford Zetec 16 valve engine. This rare example of this British sports car is presented in Metallic Blue with blue leather interior, with an attractive Walnut dashboard. It was sent back to Vegantune main agent at 20,000 miles and was fully upgraded to Series II Sprint specification. This included new upgraded bearings and pistons, reworked big valve head and camshafts, twin 45mm twin choke carburettors, new stainless steel exhaust and upgraded Spax adjustable coil over shock absorbers. The car also benefits from a new hood and comes with its tonneau covers which are in good condition. There are two history folders accompanying the car with specification sheets, old MoTs and receipts for work carried out. The current vendor has fastidiously maintained this great little sportscar and she now has brand new carpets, an engine that runs very well and brakes that work efficiently. Powered by the lively and great sounding 1700cc Twin Cam engine which provides exciting performance with great handling to match. Marketed originally as the 'Lotus eater' it is easy to see why.
1954 Singer 4AD SM Roadster Transmission: manualMileage:68600The Singer Roadster is a nine tax horsepower open 2/4 seater sports-tourer automobile manufactured by Singer from 1939 until 1955. It was launched in March 1939 as an open version of Singer's Bantam saloon and using many Bantam parts. After less than six months production was suspended for the duration of World War II then restarted with the engine moved forward, more interior space and other minor modifications. The Roadster was upgraded to the 4A model in 1949 with a four-speed manual gearbox. The short lived 4AB and 4AC models were released in 1950 followed by the 4AD SM Roadster in 1951. Singer Roadsters competed with the MG T series. The flowing lines of the car made it one of the most attractive roadsters in the market. The last cars were made in 1955.
