2000 Chevrolet 2000 Chevrolet Suburban GMT400 Transmission: automaticMileage:73000The Chevrolet Suburban is a full-size SUV from Chevrolet and the name started in 1934 for the 1935 U.S. model year, making it the longest continuously used automobile nameplate in production. It has traditionally been one of General Motors' most profitable vehicles. The 1935 first generation Carryall Suburban was one of the first production all-metal bodied station wagons. It now comes with three engine options: a 5.3 litre V8, 6.2 litre V8 or a 3.0 litre Inline-6 turbo diesel. The GMT400-based Suburbans were introduced in December 1991 for the 1992 model year. The similar pickup truck models had switched to the newer platforms in the 1988 model year. Both 2WD and 4WD models, designated 'C' and 'K', were offered, as well as half ton and three-quarter ton ('1500' and '2500') models. Trim options included a base-level version, the LS, and the LT. Interior seating arrangements allowed for either bucket or bench seating in the first row and optional third row bench. The vehicle could be configured from two to nine passenger seating. Transmissions included the 4L60 four-speed automatic in the 1500 series, and the heavier duty 4L80 four-speed automatic in the 2500.Originally registered on 1st September 2002 this Chevrolet has only had the one keeper in the UK and has been used sparingly having covered less than 4,000 miles per year. These well built, robust American SUV's often have a hard life, however, this example is an exception, it is in very good order throughout. These are great vehicles to drive, with ample room in the cockpit area and in the rear for the passengers. The 5.3 litre petrol engine operates smoothly and quietly and offers brisk performance, particularly considering the size of a Suburban. The black coachwork is in very good order and the beige leather interior shows no significant signs of wear. We are advised this Chevrolet drives with no known faults and is supplied with a V5C registration document and will be presented for an MoT test prior to the auction. An extremely practical family SUV with substantial interior space for people and luggage. Consigned by Stewart Banks

Lot 128

1927 Ford Model T Transmission: manualMileage:After spending his formative years as a motor manufacturer experimenting with a variety of models, Henry Ford pared the company's range down to just one - the legendary Model T - destined to become the world's first truly mass-produced automobile. Introduced in October 1908, the Model T boasted a simple 100 wheelbase chassis that contrived to be both lightweight and durable thanks to the pioneering use of vanadium steel. The chassis track width of 56 was the same as that of a horse-drawn wagon, thereby enabling the Model T safely to negotiate rutted dirt roads. The engine was a 20hp four-cylinder sidevalve displacing 2,896cc and the transmission a simple-to-use two-speed planetary unit. By 1915 Ford had ceased to offer a range of colours, settling on just one - black - because the paint dried quicker, although some dealers began repainting cars in brighter colours after receiving them from the factory. This delightful Fort Model T finished in metallic green with yellow painted wheels and black trim is in fabulous condition throughout much owing to an extensive restoration completed by the vendor's father. First registered in the United States in 1927 the car was imported in 2017 as a part retirement project, still wearing US style plates the car racked up a considerable restoration bill which is all detailed in the comprehensive history file. Offered with a UK V5 registration certificate and details from its purchase in the US. Sadly, since his passing the car had been garaged but the family whom fondly remember the time spent with the car have had it recommissioned and it is now ready to be enjoyed by the next custodian. Consignor Mathew Priddy Guide price £13,000-17.000  *Interested parties please note, currently sold with an old V5, the current V5 has been applied for and expected imminently

Lot 256

2013 Audi Q3 Quattro SE (2.0 litre) Transmission: automaticMileage:58000The car uses the Volkswagen Group A (PQ46) platform of the Volkswagen Passat B6, the same as the Volkswagen Tiguan compact SUV. The Q3 slots above the Audi Q2 subcompact crossover SUV. Compared to the compact luxury crossover SUV Q5 and mid-size luxury crossover SUV Q7, which are positioned more for family practicality and off-road performance, the Q3 is aimed as more of a lifestyle/sports automobile. Design and development began following board approval in the second half of 2007. Julian Hoenig's design was chosen for production and frozen in 2009.  The Q3 shares components, transmissions and engines with amongst other vehicles utilising the PQ35 platform, the Volkswagen Golf, Audi A3 and Å koda Yeti. This lovely example imported from Japan is presented in black with grey cloth interior. It comes with electric windows to front and rear, privacy glass, air conditioning with climate control, stop/start, keyless ignition and this particular car comes with the more powerful 210bhp engine mated to an automatic transmission. It comes with 10 service stamps up until 2022 and has a mileage guarantee certificate. These are great small SUV vehicles which are extremely popular and this example looks superb in its black colour scheme and its ULEZ compliant. Consigned, by James Good

A road-registered homage to the Audi Quattro campaigned by the renowned rally driver, Michèle Mouton. Trailered to and from events from our vendor's Private Collection. Michèle Mouton is perhaps most famous for competing in the World Rally Championship for the Audi factory team, taking took four victories and finishing runner-up in the Drivers' World Championship in 1982. Mouton made her debut in rallying as a co-driver but quickly moved to the driver's seat, steering an Alpine-Renault A110 in national rallies. In 1975, she competed in circuit racing and won the 2-litre prototype class in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. After being signed by Fiat France for 1977, Mouton finished runner-up to Bernard Darniche in the European Rally Championship. She went on to win the 1978 Tour de France Automobile and recorded consistent results in her home events in the WRC; the Tour de Corse and the Monte Carlo Rally. For 1981, Audi Sport signed Mouton to partner Hannu Mikkola and, in her first year with the Audi Quattro, she took a surprise victory at the Rallye San Remo. In the 1982 World Rally season, Mouton finished a close second overall to Walter Röhrl, after wins in Portugal, Brazil and Greece, and helped Audi to its first manufacturers' title. Our vendor, a huge fan of Mme. Mouton back in the day, purchased this special car in 2016 where it joined a Collection of period race and rally cars. First registered in the UK on 21st October 1982, the car retains its UK V5C and, although road-registered, our vendor informs us that some enhancements would be required to enjoy the car on the road with confidence. Naturally MOT exempt, our vendor would recommend the buyer seek professional advice before committing the car to the open road.Trailered to various shows and often lent to friends for business promotional purposes, this rather fine re-creation would make an ideal show car and an interesting addition to any Collection. Regretfully offered to auction to fulfil the need to slim down his Collection due to advancing years, this car has great potential.Specification Make: AUDI Model: QUATTRO Year: 1982 Chassis Number: 85DA900654 Registration Number: XMS 999Y Transmission: Manual Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Make: RHD Interior Colour: BlackClick here for more details and images
