YM211417  The BSA M21 first went into production in 1937 and such was its popularity that production continued until 1963. Fitted with a 591cc single cylinder engine the machine was popular with the Automobile Association who fitted sidecars and used them for their patrols. This example was manufactured on 3rd July 1948. The bike has been fully rebuilt by the current owner and is described as being in first class condition. A lovely machine which is ready to enjoy.

Comme je ne jouis pas de votre heureuse stabilité de corps et d’esprit, je reprendrai dès le lendemain les grandes routes. Il va s’assurer que « son château » est en état de le recevoir ; 450 km d’automobile à rouler avant dîner. Arrêt à Tours pour visiter un exemplaire de la Diane (…) qui présente certaines particularités, déjeuner dans le bois prochain près d’une source enchanteresse comme au XVIIIe siècle. Que peut-on demander de plus ? (…). Joint une carte de visite avec compliments autographes de Clémenceau président du Conseil, ministre de la Guerre.
