A complete run in excellent, clean condition from Volume 1, No 1, Spring 1962 to Volume 39, No 4, December 1999, together with seven Index Volumes covering Volumes 1 to 35 (lacking only that for Volumes 17 to 20), but with the 2 additional cumulative Index Volumes for Volumes 1-20 (in publisher's slipcase) and Volumes 21-40. Volumes 1 to 13 inclusive are housed in the publisher's yearly black slipcases, which are somewhat dusty and slightly rubbed. The lot also includes a duplicate of Volume 25, No I, the 25th Anniversary Edition, two special paperback supplements on the Plymouth Prowler and Aston Martin DB7, and four loose issues from 1989 of Automobile Quarterly's Quatrefoil, Book and Automotive Catalogue (a qty)

Derek Bell MBE Photograph & Lunch Black and white photograph of Derek Bell MBE taking Old Hall Corner at the August 1968 Oulton Park Gold Cup, which was his first race for Ferrari where he was competing in a 312 which retired after 25 laps. Framed and glazed. Included is a one-to-one lunch with the 5 times Le Mans Winner himself at the Royal Automobile Club where he will hand sign the photograph for the successful bidder. The sale proceeds will be donated to the Henry Surtees Foundation, which was set up by John Surtees CBE in memory of his son. DELÂGE LOUIS: (1874-1947) French Engineer. A Pioneer automobile Manufacturer. An attractive signed and inscribed postcard photograph `L. Delâge´, the image depicting the French engineer driving one of his Delâge Automobile cars. Signed and inscribed in bold black fountain pen ink `I am very sensible to your kind congratulations and I send you my very sincere gratefulness´ in French. Post-stamped to the verso, Paris, 4th July 1911. Extremely small, minor age wear and staining, otherwise VG £150-200The Delâge Automobile Company grew rapidly in the 1910´s and 20´s, and their vehicles soon gained a reputation for their stylish appearance and quality and as a dominant force in motor racing. With the great depression the company bankrupted and went into liquidation in the 1930´s. Delâge lived the rest of his life ruined in near poverty.
Rolls Royce and automobile interest; Rolls Royce grill decanter by Ruddspeed Ltd., chromed ashtray with spirit of ecstasy surmount, RR MC car badge mounted on oak plinth, two Rolls Royce leather key chain tags, two AA card badges, ephemera etc. CONDITION REPORT: Decanter: finial replaced with plastic copy. Glass reservoir appears intact. Grime and dirt. Some light scratches to chrome, some pits.
