Regulations programme for the Automobile Week of Brescia dated 2nd-10th September 1905, a very scarce original competing-entrants handbook of instructions & regulations comprehensively detailing the series of events, including “Coppa Florio” reliability-trial for Automobiles, “Coppa Salemi” for Motor-boats on Lake Garda, “Coppa d”Italia” hill-climb and “Concorso Internationale” etc. 85pp, soft-covers with lithographed illustration frontis, fold-out route-maps and gradient-charts, and with individual perforated entry-slips for each of the major trophy events (all still intact) and with photograph illustrations adverts etc. (1)
* D.D.A.C. Der Deutsche Automobile Club International Rally. A rare group of competitor’s awards for the “16th Annual Event inscribed “Der Bayerische Alpen” 1934, comprising decorative enamelled car badge for the ADAC organising club, enamelled bronze competitor’s plaque and silver-plated competitors lapel-pin badge numbered 176, all excellent original condition. Originally awarded to a British Amateur driver the late Tom Steward, a regular competitor in International trials and rally events during the 1930s. (3)
* “Automobile House”. A good early 20th c. tinplate toy motor-house by Gbr. Bing of Nuremberg, c. 1920s, decorative lithograph detailing with opening double doors containing within an original tinplate clockwork toy De Dion-Bouton Edwardian-style two-seater motor-car, very good original condition, although lacking companion limousine, the two-seater having bisque fairing of two children as passengers, German manufacture, c1920, 7 x 9in (18 x 23cm) (-)

Blanckensee, Birmingham 1909 and 1911, circular pierced form with three scroll handles, two set with two North Eastern Automobile Association medallions; `Ragpath Sidehill Climb, 18th September 1909, won by Mr W.E.Galloway on 20 HP Stanley car, Class II`, the other with an inscription for the prize for the fastest time, plus a dish with a medallion of The Newcastle Upon Tyne Royal Mining, Engineering & Industrial Exhibition, plus a silver and enamel dish Coventry & Warwickshire M.C, engraved `Saintbury Hill Climb, W.E. Royalty – Anne Duchess of Cumberland and Strathern important indenture on a single leaf of vellum signed and sealed by her dated 1791 being the assignment of large tracts of land and property in Pall Mall London including Cumberland House the large Palladian Mansion built originally by the Duke of York and known as York House until his early death when it was taken over by the Duke of Cumberland and renamed. Small areas of fading on the document but clearly legible throughout and with a full transcript. This document concerns various areas of land in the Pall Mall area as well as Cumberland House and is therefore of considerable interest for this part of Central London. Cumberland House was sold in the early 19th c and was eventually taken over by the War Office. It was demolished in the early 20th c and the site is now that of the Headquarters of the Royal Automobile Club

Inter-unit Swimming Championships Runner`s Up 1946 plated and enamelled plaque, a similar plaque awarded for water polo, winners 1947, an Allied Forces Sports Council 1947 Track and Field Championships medallion, engraved `Capt. R.G. Griffith G.B. Timier`, three further sports medallions, etc, and an Automobile Club Interallie des Officers Fontainebleau car badge.
A rare 1950’s Lone Star RAC series Mobile Office Caravan to tow behind the Land Rover from the same series. Caravan is in the traditional blue livery of the day and has ‘Mobil Office Royal Automobile Club’ to both sides, with an RAC decal to each corner. Complete with towbar. Boxed some crushing/damage. Caravan GC-VGC some minor chipping/damage at roof line to one side. Plate. See back cover
