Dambuster 617 Squadron F O Ray Grayston signed Guy Gibson Bomber Pilot commemorative VC FDC PM The Cenotaph Whitehall London 1939 1945 WWII. Raymond Ernest Grayston was born on 13 October 1918 in Dunsfold, Surrey, and worked as an automobile engineer before the war. Like many young men of his generation, Grayston was fascinated by flying and volunteered for the RAF at the beginning of the war. In a TV documentary to mark the 60th anniversary of the Dams Raid he described how he loved riding a motorbike at speed, and that this was one of the things which encouraged him into the air force. Initially he served as ground crew but then, along with many others who were mechanically minded, he was selected to train as a flight engineer on the new generation of heavy bombers which needed more personnel. He was posted to 50 Squadron in October 1942, and teamed up with Les Knight, who had just formed a new crew. He flew on some 18 operations with this crew before they were posted en bloc to 617 Squadron in March 1943. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity. We combine postage on multiple winning lots and can ship worldwide. UK postage from £5.99, EU from £7.99, Rest of World from £9.99

2004 Jaguar XJR Transmission: automaticMileage:55794The Jaguar XJ (X350) is a luxury saloon manufactured between 2003-2009 as the third generation of the Jaguar XJ saloon - carrying the internal designation X350. Both the X350 and X358 were available with a six-speed automatic transmission, a range of petrol and diesel engines (V6, V8 and supercharged V8), numerous trim levels - and short wheelbase (2003-2009) or long wheelbase (2005-2009) configurations.  The X350 was noted for its advanced electrical systems, self-levelling adaptive air suspension and full aluminium unibody chassis and bodywork, among the first for a mass-produced automobile. The bodyshell was 40 percent lighter and 50 percent stiffer than its predecessor, despite its increased overall size. This superb example was  imported from Japan in 2018, is presented in black with a very attractive black/claret leather interior which looks superb, electric sunroof, climate control, adaptive cruise control, premium sound system, electric heated memory seats, electric folding mirrors, rear stereo controls built into central armrest. Lot 252

1988 Evante Convertible Series I Transmission: manualMileage:33644Renowned worldwide for its successful racing engines, the Spalding-based firm of Vegantune diversified into car making in the early 1980s with the Lotus Elan-inspired Evante, a separate company - Evante Cars Ltd - being set up to handle its manufacture. Although Elan-like in appearance, the glassfibre-bodied Evante employed a stronger, tubular-steel spaceframe chassis rather than the Lotus's backbone type and was powered by Vegantune's own Ford-based VTA twin-cam engine. Producing 170bhp and 140lb/ft of torque from its 1.7 litres, this engine, with its belt-driven camshafts and accessible water pump, was reckoned much easier to maintain than the Lotus version. Only produced to individual customer order, the Evante failed to weather the late 1980s recession. After only a limited number had been made, the operation was sold to a consortium of Spalding businessmen, who continued production of the Evante 140TC. In the autumn of 1992, Evante was sold to another specialist vehicle manufacturer - Newark-based Fleur De Lys Automobile Manufacturing Limited - which re-engineered the chassis to accept the 1.8 litre Ford Zetec 16 valve engine. This rare example of this British sports car is presented in Metallic Blue with blue leather interior, with an attractive Walnut dashboard. It was sent back to Vegantune main agent at 20,000 miles and was fully upgraded to Series II Sprint specification. This included new upgraded bearings and pistons, reworked big valve head and camshafts, twin 45mm twin choke carburettors, new stainless steel exhaust and upgraded Spax adjustable coil over shock absorbers. The car also benefits from a new hood and comes with its tonneau covers which are in good condition. There are two history folders accompanying the car with specification sheets, old MoTs and receipts for work carried out. The current vendor has fastidiously maintained this great little sportscar and she now has brand new carpets, an engine that runs very well and brakes that work efficiently. Powered by the lively and great sounding 1700cc Twin Cam engine which provides exciting performance with great handling to match. Supplied with a V5 document together with an MoT valid until 3rd May 2023; marketed originally as the 'Lotus eater' it is easy to see why. Such a great fun car for the summer.

J´ai fait arrange la capote et il n´y a plus de courant d´air. Voici mes projets. If the great Opera drops you, come and find me… If the great Opera don´t drop you, try to drop them around February 15th. My big beloved chouchou, you need a little rest as well as me”) Renault further sends his kisses, and refers to her lips, to his love for her and expects that she is behaving like an angel in Paris.
