Agricultural manuscript 1815 written in a neat hand in a hard backed exercise book. The ms contains observations on various plants such as carrots^ Cole seed^ wheat^ black barley etc^ but with further observations on experimental planting of both food crops and flowers. Clearly belonging to a student of agriculture and providing an interesting insight into agricultural development at the time. About 16pp 8vo^ some pages have been removed presumably at the time.

Agricultural manuscript 19th c written on c25pp 4to on an exercise book and with a number of dried flower specimens. This would appear to be the script of a lecture on the subject of agricultural or farm weeds. Loosely inserted at the end is a press cutting of a letter published in Bell’s Weekly Messenger on the cultivation of seeds written by an Evan Davies of Much Wenlock^ Shropshire – possibly the author of the manuscript
Early genealogical manuscript – Phillips Manuscript c1685 An abstract of what familys of ye ancient nobility wich are extinct and by whome they are matcht in^ alphabetically describ’d^ folio 83pp. Phillips Ms number 12430. A very interesting and very early genealogical and biographical manuscript inscribed on the flyleaf ‘The Memoirs of Henry Longueville^ de vitiate Londini^ Mercaqtorem Scissorem in parochio Sancti Brigettae vulgo dicto Ludgate-hill. The ms covers families with the names A-D including such names as Audley^ Astley^ Beauchamp^ Chandos^ Cobham^ and Dynham.
Scarce chronicle of the reign of Henry VII – the Year Book of the Reign of Henry VII^ publishing the legal measures passed during this reign^ printed in 1555. Black letter throughout and with a number of presumably contemporaneous manuscript annotations in margins. Appears complete and in good fresh condition throughout^ modern binding. An exceptionally rare work. We have only been able to trace copies of this book in the following holdings: The British Library^ Hatfield^ Harvard and Minnesota.

Howard, "D" Battery, RCFA to Quebec, showing a superb strike of the oval-framed "canadian contingent/en route/south africa" datestamp in lilac and manuscript "10" due, the reverse with Ottawa (15.2) and Aylmer (16.2) arrival datestamps. An attractive usage of this rare handstamp on the first recorded date of use. Photo Note: The Second Contingent embarked on the S.S. "Laurentian" which sailed from Halifax on 20 January 1900 and made a planned stop at St. Vincent, Cape Verde Islands on 31 January. On the day before the ship arrived at St. Vincent , mail to be landed was cancelled by an impression of the "En Route" handstamp by the four postal workers on board.
