A Queen`s South Africa Medal with four bars, `Cape Colony`, `Orange Free State`, `Transvaal` and `South Africa 1901`, to `360 36 Pte P.E. Stannard. 108th Coy Imp: Yeo:`, together with a bronze medallion, the obverse with the portrait of Sir Walter Raleigh 1552-1618 and engraved to the reverse `Tobacco W.D.C. 1921 P.E. Stannard`, five Second World War period medals, comprising 1939-45 Star, Africa Star with bar `First Army`, Italy Star, 1939-45 Defence Medal and 1939-45 War Medal, all named in impressed capitals to `RQMS E.P. Stannard`, mounted on a bar, and a miniature 1939-45 Defence Medal (spelt `Defense`).
A 19th Century Parisian White Marble & Gilt Bronze Clock Set in the Louis XVI Style. The round convex enamel dial signed G. COIFFE LIMOGES and set into a gilt drum flanked by sprays of laurel with a sleeping cherub leant against one side. The white marble plinth adorned with a recessed frieze of classical scrolling flowers and foliage raised on leafy bun feet, 12½ ins (32 cms) in height. The candelabra in the form of an infant boy & girl holding scrolling cornucopia with fruiting vines to the candle cups, raised on round marble pedestals.
A Small Louis XVI Style Figural Bronze & White Marble Mantel Clock. The movement set in a black patinated globe studded with gilt stars and applied numerals, held aloft by a winged cherub. The dark brown patinated figure sat upon a stop fluted marble column with gilt bronze mounts leading down to a square base with breakfront corners above foliate cast feet, 13¾ ins (35 cms) in height.
An Unusual 19th Century French Portico Clock. The enamelled chapter ring singed HRY MARC PARIS and encircling a visible escapement with the name repeated on the back plate and stamped with numbers 2323 22 645. The tall rectangular uprights veneered in green tortoiseshell with silver metal embellishments & stringing, and finely pierced gilt bronze mounts engraved with scrolling foliage. The clock raised on an ebonised plinth base with moulded edge under a glass dome 24 ins (60 cms) in height (A/F).
A Fine Quality Empire Gilt Bronze Figural Mantel Clock. The painted enamel dial set into a drum case forming the wheel of a gilded shell-form chariot with gilt spokes and a winged dragon mounting the rear. The chariot drawn by two dark patinated bronze horses with gilt tack driven by a cherub. The long rectangular Griotte d`Italie marble base embellished with gilded floral sprays. Standing on tapered bun feet 17 ins (43 cms) in height, 19 ins x 6 ins (49 cms x 15 cms).
An Exceptionally Fine Empire Ormolu Portico Clock. The painted enamel dial signed Caillouet à Paris and bordering an open centre exposing the workings. The movement having a silk suspension and striking a bell with a rayed face-mask pendulum. Set into a green marble pediment enhanced by a gilt bronze twin griffin appliqués above and female figures clutching fruiting festoons below. The tall fluted Corinthian columns raised on a rectangular plinth upon bun feet 17½ ins (44 cms) in height, 10 ins (26 cms) in width, 5¼ ins (13.5 cms) in width.
A Pair of Unusual Leather Upholstered Armchairs with decorative gilt bronze mounts. The padded bow backs edged in brass studs with rococo mounts adorning the top rails. The flat spoon ended arms resting on finely cast gilt caryatids. The sprung serpentine-front seats on square legs terminating with exuberant hairy paw feet, 39 ins (99 cms) in height.
A Fine Pair of Empire Ormolu Mounted Figural Bronze Candelabra. The dark brown patinated figures of Diana & Endymion holding aloft the four light candle branches; each with a central candle cups raised on a lyre surrounded by three further candle cups on C-scroll arms cast with dogs-head terminals and issuing sprays of foliage. The classical figures standing upon square pedestal plinths with gilt appliqués cast in the form of winged torchères and female figures. 28 ins (71 cms) in height,
A Pair of Empire Bronze Figural Candle Sconces. Each sconce cast in the form of a winged horse with scrolling tail, bearing on it`s head a petalled gilt urn issuing four scrolling candle branches; the horse emanating from a crested foliate wall mount. 17 ins (43 cms) high, 13 ins (33 cms) in depth.
A Bronze & Ormolu Desk Set; The inkwells and pounce pot set into a rectangular scotia moulded base with ornate scrolling gilt decoration. The lid surmounted by the figure of a dark patinated monkey sat reading a book before a table laden with gilded map, books, callipers & ink-pot, 7½ ins (19 cms) in height, the base 7½ ins x 4¾ ins (19 cms x 12 cms).

The bulbous body decorated with landscapes & geisha girls in panels raised on a square gilt base with ribbon bound laurel wreath ornamentation and re-entrant corner quadrants. The rim mounted with a guilloche band issuing three swept & reeded arms supporting the octagonal cream silk shade, with a seeding foliate finial to the centre, 44 ins (112 cms) in height.
A Pair of 19th Century Arita Blue & White Baluster Vases, painted with lion dogs and cloud forms of a crackle glazed ground with bronze patinated rims, shoulder bands carved with leaves and berries, base bands of crested waves and small branch-form handles issuing boughs of raised white enamel blossom, 23¾ ins (60 cms) in height.
A 19th Century Gilt Bronze Desk Clock signed A. Marionnet. The painted enamel dial having pierced gilt hands and is set into a gilt bronze rock surmounted by an eagle with outspread wings. The green & white veined marble base raised on twin scroll feet 10½ ins (26.5 cms) in height, 11¾ ins (30 cms) in depth, 5½ ins (14 cms) in width. Stamped on the underside; A.M. Deposé. [No key].

The case veneered in diagonally grained kingwood veneers enriched with gilt bronze Rococo mounts cast with scrolls of crested foliage and incorporating a thermometer with hand painted scale and barometer dial inscribed Barométre selon Toricelly. 45 ins (115 cms) in height.
A Louis XV Style Vernis Martin Side Cabinet. The serpentine Brocatelle Violette marble top with moulded edge above an upper frieze drawer and bombé cupboard having painted cartouche panels depicting romantic scenes edged in gilt bronze foliate cast beading on a diagonally grained tulipwood ground. The swept sides adorned with caryatid mounts above crested leaves tailing down to meet the scrolled sabots. 46 ins (117 cms) high, 39 ins (99 cms) wide, 17½ ins (44.5 cms) deep.
A Fine French Louis XVI Style Clock Set of unusual striated salmon pink marble and gilt bronze. The clock having a convex enamel dial signed E. Duval decorated with delicate floral swags and having pierced & engraved pointers. The case surmounted by an urn with fluted half columns capped by flaming finials either side leading down to a D-ended plinth bases raised on gilded feet and embellished with fine gilt mounts, 14½ ins (47 cms) high. The four light candelabra having scrolling gilt branches emanating from a central urn raised on rams headed monopods leading down to round base platforms, 15 ins (38 cms) in height.
A Fine Victorian Burr Walnut Credenza. The breakfront top with bowed sides above a parquetry frieze of interlaced geometric bands. The centre door having an oval porcelain plaque hand-painted with three celestial cherubs in a turquoise border enriched with gilding, in gilt bronze mounts. The pilasters inlaid with key pattern bands and flanking bowed glass side cupboards enclosing display shelves lined in velvet. Standing on a plinth base 45½ ins (110 cms) high, 71 ins (180 cms) wide.
A Pair of Napoleon III `Sèvres` Porcelain Baluster Pedestal Vases with gilt bronze mounts. The bulbous bodies having hand-painted ovoid panels depicting romantic scenes on one side and river landscapes on the other edged with gilt embellishments on a turquoise blue ground and mounted with winged caryatid handles, 22½ ins (57 cms) high.
