Pomeroy - a contemporary bronze figure of a nude boxer, of stylised form, his right arm outstretched, mid-brown patina, incised Pomeroy 2001 AP (artist's proof) to back of foot, h.31.5cm, w.39cmCondition: Consigned privately ‘over the counter’. Despite extensive research we have been unable to find out anything about the artist. It is nicely cast and detailed. A good weight for the size.
Richard Georg Schnauder (German 1886-1956) - Allegorie des Rundfunks (Allegory of Broadcasting), a large Art Deco period bronze figure modelled as a nude male in dynamic pose and holding multiple arrows in each hand, standing left-footed on a partial section of the globe, incised signature and raised on integral black marble square base, h.50cm, length 92cm.Overall good and original condition.Patina good and original.Some small surface marks / imperfections, but nothing significant.
