Of Imperial Russian interest - a Bronze medallion commemorating the visit of Tsar Alexander II to the City of London on the 18th May 1874, diameter 75 mm, presentation case. Alexander II (1818 - 1881) was the Emperor of Russia from 2 March 1855 until his assassination on 13 March 1881. He sold Alaska to the USA in 1867 fearing it would fall into Great Britain's hands.
