A fine large Battle of Britain period airfield dispersal bell dated 1940, polished nickel-bronze with crown-shaped top, stamped markings inscribed “A.M. - 1940” with king’s crown emblem above, further stamped “ATW” with broad arrow motif to top, cast-iron clapper with braided rope-twist handle, 11in (28cm) diam. & height (1)

A large WWII period airfield dispersal bell dated 1943, bronze bell-metal with fixing to top, stamped markings inscribed “A.M. - 1943” with king’s crown emblem above, further stamped “ATW” with broad arrow motif to top and “G&J” foundry-mark stamp, cast-iron clapper with braided rope-twist handle, 10.5in (26cm) diam. 13in (33cm) overall height (1)
* WWII Vickers Armstrong Ltd., Supermarine Spitfire. A unique commemorative presentation desk-piece inscribed to C.N. Rhodes, comprising a finely detailed cast-bronze representation of a Spitfire, mounted upon a chrome-plated bronze base, having lift-out cast bronze ashtray with central hub engraved with monogram initials “AV”, and with applied RAF winged motif and further inscription to base “Vickers-Armstrong Ltd, Castle Bromwich Works, 12,000 Spitfire Aircraft, CN Rhodes 1940-45”. Believed a presentation piece to the subject responsible for production of the Spitfire at the West Bromwich plant, synonymous with every aspect of The Battle of Britain and the defence of the Empire during the Second World War. * D.D.A.C. Der Deutsche Automobile Club International Rally. A rare group of competitor’s awards for the “16th Annual Event inscribed “Der Bayerische Alpen” 1934, comprising decorative enamelled car badge for the ADAC organising club, enamelled bronze competitor’s plaque and silver-plated competitors lapel-pin badge numbered 176, all excellent original condition. Originally awarded to a British Amateur driver the late Tom Steward, a regular competitor in International trials and rally events during the 1930s. (3)
* Psaier (Pietro, 1936-2004). “Spirit of Ecstasy”, a rare sculpted desk piece statuette, c. 1970s, in homage to, and in the manner of Charles Sykes, the artist’s interpretation of the iconic emblem of Rolls Royce, silver-plated cast-bronze, with deliberately “distressed” finish, with stamped inscribed signature by the artist to conical base, and indistinctly numbered “180” beneath one wing, mounted upon a black marble octagonal base, height 16in (41cm) Pietro Psaier, well known for his vibrant paintings, worked with Andy Warhol in his New York studios, and reputedly exhibited jointly with Warhol in 1978. Sadly he lost his life when his remote beach-house in Sri Lanka was washed away in the great Tsunami disaster of December 2004. (1)
* A good collection of sporting trophies and awards to the late S.W. Reeves Esq, principally for National Rifle Shooting Competitions, 1930s-1960s, comprising trophy cups, tankards, plaques and a large selection of gold, silver and bronze medal awards, many in original presentation boxes, variously inscribed including Gloster Aircraft Rifle Club, Hawker-Siddeley Group, Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs, National Small-bore Rifle Association, Anglo-American Pershing Match Competition and many others, medals variously decoratively enamelled and inscribed (approx. 100)

A fine large bronze wall clock cast in the form of a Royal Artillery flaming grenade badge with regimental motto “Ubique” below, with circular brass bezel inset previously with clock-fitting within, height 24 inches (61cm) A former mess-hall ornament, rescued as souvenir by the late Lt-Colonel Frederick Cook.
