A small bronze model of a Cupid with bow together with four Austrian brass miniature horses and Pug dogs, a silver coloured white metal thimble case, a Cantonese carved mother of pearl gaming chip with motto family crest and an Art Nouveau embossed leather Sovereign purse by Stockley & Co., 44 New Bond Street and a silver and mother of pearl dip pen, Chester 1908.
A WW1 bronze death plaque in original folder with letter awarded to 8428 Private Henry Edward Wymer 2nd battalion Norfolk Regiment together with his three general service medals, death certificate dated 1 January 1915 detailing death whilst serving with the Indian Expeditionary Force in the Persian Gulf. Two letters written before his death are with the lot together with other letters written to his parents from other comrade soldiers after his death, other correspondence, medal envelopes, his small bible (inscribed to front), group postcard sized photograph inscribed to reverse with details, education certificate. The lot also includes two WW1 General Service medals belonging to the brother of the above, 29981 Private W G Wymer, Norfolk Regiment and a small collection of various black and white photographs of soldiers, probably the two brothers and others. A rare and poignant collection of WW1 medals and letters.
