Cartier travelling alarm clock with white oval dial, Roman numerals and subsidiary alarm hand, signed - Cartier Paris, in an oval case with lapis lazuli finish surround and easel back with Cartier 'C' scroll feet, reverse of case signed and numbered, 9cm overall CONDITION REPORT General overall condition very good. Front glass has deep scratch at 9 o'clock. Rear of case is marked around winder. Lapis finish has some minor damage to surface. Lapis lazuli surround is applied decoration and not solid
Mid-Victorian wall mounted regulator with eight day single train movement, top mounted winding, 12.5 inch diameter silvered dial with outer minute dial, subsidiary hour and seconds dials, signed - Nath Wegg Deptford, offset weight and mercury compensated adjustable pendulum (mercury now removed), in a flame mahogany case with domed top and full length removable canopy with glass panel and pierced dial surround, carved acanthus leaf lower wall mounting cover, 174cm overall length (key, weight and pendulum present, second and hour hand removed but also present) CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Movement is clean and we understand the clock was working until recently. Although now dismantled, we believe all the parts are present with exception of two brass mounted fastening screws for the bottom of the movement and a screw from the bottom of the pendulum frame. Case is in good condition, some signs of previous renovation and veneer is lifting in places. Sides of case are not glazed. Bottom left hand side corner of hood is split and interior veneer has piece missing, which is available. Pendulum scale silvering is worn. The pendulum has a spring and a threaded adjustment bar at the top that sits on the movement. The pallets are incorporated into the circle escapement near the top of the pendulum rod. Glass is scratched on reverse in front of upper carved decoration. Clock is wound with a key though a keyhole in the top of the case on the left of the dome. We do have the mercury. Depth of case is 11.4cm, the case is 38.3cm wide

Great Western Railway 12 inch oak cased fusee dial clock supplied in the middle to late part of the 19th century. The wire driven fusee movement has shaped shoulders and cut out to the bottom of the plates, tapered pillars with a central ring these features are consistent with a clock produced around 1860. The Oak case with an 8 piece segmented surround is in excellent condition and has GWR ivorine numberplate 668 screwed onto the left hand side of the box. The style of clock is very similar to ones supplied by Joseph Collings of Cardiff to some of the South Wales pre grouping companies. This clock was restored by Dr Parr and is in perfect working condition ready to hang on your wall, complete with pendulum and winding key.

A FINE & EXTREMELY RARE 18TH CENTURY CHINESE QIANLONG MARK & PERIOD FAMILLE ROSE IMPERIAL QUALITY PORCELAIN OFFERING DISH, the interior with a formal design of unusual geometric motifs divided by scrolling lotus, the wide everted rim with an unusual design of circular piercings linked by an iron-red cord surround within formal floral borders, the base enamelled in turquoise and centred by a Qianlong seal mark in iron-red, 15.3in diameter. (cf. Lot 3442 Christies Hong Kong 27th November 2013 for a pair of very similar examples. Also a related example is exhibited in The National Palace Museum in Taiwan.
