Lot 548

WW2 RAF 1941 Operations Sector Clock by Elliott. A rare example of the type with original painted face, with red, blue and yellow triangles. Also with the RAF cap badge device. The polish mahogany surround and boxed in works has an access point to the side and base. The box cover secured by four dowels. The brass works are stamped to the backing plate “17608 Made by F.B. Elliott Ltd England” and stamped with the date 1941. Complete with pendulum and key. The works appear to be clean and running. Small amount of damage to the face. Therefore, it has been in two pieces since being installed in the mid 19th century.
