WW2 RAF 1941 Operations Sector Clock by Elliott. A rare example of the type with original painted face, with red, blue and yellow triangles. Also with the RAF cap badge device. The polish mahogany surround and boxed in works has an access point to the side and base. The box cover secured by four dowels. The brass works are stamped to the backing plate “17608 Made by F.B. Elliott Ltd England” and stamped with the date 1941. Complete with pendulum and key. The works appear to be clean and running. Small amount of damage to the face. Offered as a historical item only; the instrument’s accuracy is neither warranted or implied.
Badge. 21st (Empress of India’s) Lancers Officer’s lance cap plate circa 1899-1901. A fine and rare example. Copper gilt fluted rayed back plate with large silver overlay comprising the Royal Arms superimposed on crossed lances; in surround are sprays of laurel and palm. Below the Royal Arms the honour “Khartoum” over VRI cypher all resting on bi-part scroll “21st (Empress of” “ India’s) Lancers”. Top ray finial missing otherwise VGC .

A Chinese Antique Bronze Horse, with a mounted figure dressed in long robes, seated side saddle, the saddle cloth having chasing dragons and pearls of wisdom surround, loops to the rump and nose of the horse for suspension, approx 14 cms. Provenance: From a private collection belonging to the Late Dermott Levins, avid Oriental collector, Levins bought from notable London galleries and auction houses in the mid-1940's including Glendining & Co New Bond Street, Yamanaka & Co New Bond Street and later Sothebys.
A substantial mid 19th century grey veined marble fire surround of Gothic design, with a pair of andirons and fender. Please note: there is no cast iron insert, green hearth or fire grate included with this lot. CONDITION REPORT: The fireplace was delivered to the saleroom dismantled. We have been assured all sections are present. Width of mantel 206cm. Archway is two pieces with bonding agent holding together. Therefore, it has been in two pieces since being installed in the mid 19th century.
