A pretty tortoiseshell and silver free-standing photograph frame suitable for a photograph 95 mm x 60 mm approximately, having bevelled glass and containing a sepia photograph of a young lady in early dress, the inset surround depicting in relief a mirrored pair of water birds and gargoyles surmounted by a ribbon swag. A most appealing tortoiseshell and silver Inkstand having a square recess for an inkwell, the pierced work surround having to the back an un-engraved cartouche flanked by Angels, scrolling foliage and flower blooms, the sides with depictions of swooping birds, scrolls, foliage and flowers, the whole raised on pierced scroll feet. 160 mm x 135 mm x 42 mm high. London 1894, makers William Comyns.
An ebonised circular Eastern occasional Table, the top with a nicely detailed central carved scene with Thai type figure flanked by an elephant to either side and with a carved surround depicting stylised foliage and flowers within a scroll depicting frieze, raised on three legs framed by elephant heads, the trunks extending to form the supports, 24 3/4" diameter x 24 1/4" high.
