A mid 19th century Italian micromosaic plaque, circa 1850, possibly from the workshop of Michelangelo Barberi, depicting St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica, in a black glass surround, 4.5cm x 3.4cm, in a fitted red leather case with a sticker to the reverse reading, Mosaici a Roma, 148. Via Rasella; and a further 19th century Italian micromosaic plaque, depicting the Roman Forum, with a view of the Temple of Vespasian and Titus between the Arch of Septimius Severus and the Temple of Saturn, with the single column of Foca in the distance, 4.6cm x 3.7cm, in a gilt tooled fitted case 148.
