Pearson's ruling machine', occasional spotting or light staining, lightly browned, contemporary reversed calf, spine worn, lower cover detached, 8vo *** A fascinating snapshot of the bone china industry of the period. The order book seems to have belonged to a supplier to the industry, and includes orders for plaster and stone.

A collection of three 19th century porcelain cream pouring jugs. The lot comprising a bulbous Royal Copenhagen jug with gilt rim & engraved transfer printed view of a bridge & monastery; a smaller similar example with green painted rim with alpine view to one side and a water wheel to the other; and an example likely by Flight Barr & Barr Worcester or Spode, featuring gilt rim and acorn design with hand painted oak leaves. Tallest measures approx. 12.5cm tall.
Two circa 1820 porcelain twin handled lidded Spode sugar pots. The lot comprising an oval shaped pot with gilt finial to lid, and painted gilded design of acorns and acanthus leaves on white ground with cobalt leaves, marked Spode in red to base; along with a Chinese pheasant pattern pot, with gilt sheaf finial lid, and famille rose style pattern of flowers and pheasants, with Fo dog handles to each side, marked Spode stone China to underside with mock Chinese mark. Tallest measures approx. 13cm tall.
A collection of matched early - mid 19th century porcelain teacups and saucers, along with three teacups and a collection of orphan saucers. The lot comprising a Spode example with duck egg blue rim featuring raised floral white decoration, a Davenport example with teal rim and gilded decoration, a Flight Barr and Bar example featuring blue and pink floral decoration on gilt, a Flight and Barr example with gilt and orange ground and B mark, and two other floral & foliate examples in orange. Some historic damage & repairs including staples & glue. Along with other pieces by makers such as Flight and Barr, Copeland, Spode, Crown Derby etc., including three saucers in an Imari design, a saucer with puce decoration, heavily gilded saucers in a Regency style, and one matched teacup and saucer.
