A rare Turner's Patent Ironstone type punch bowl, 1800-1805, decorated in the Chinese taste with alternating panels of figures and landscapes in colours and iron-red, on a blue and gilt scroll ground, the interior with floral spray within a trellis and flower 'Imari' style border, script mark 'Turner's-Patent.' 28cms diameter. *This body was patented in January 1800 and the rights sold to Spode in 1805.
