Spode trio of tea bowl coffee cup and matching plate, decorated with floral sprigs painted in grey, a Chamberlain's Worcester Regent china dessert service, comprising twin handled dish, five lobed serving dishes and fourteen plates, all with floral pattern in relief and gilt highlights, branch vase and fish potpourri. A good quantity of books on antique pottery, porcelain, ceramics, including Godden "Staffordshire Porcelain", Granada, 1983; Spencer "Early Lowestoft" 1981, 1st edition, signed; Whiter "Spode"; "Dictionary of Blue & White Printed Pottery 1780-1880"; plus others on Delftware, Derby Porcelain, Royal Worcester, Staffordshire, etc., 15+ in total
A quantity of porcelain to include, two Meissen relief moulded dishes, Spode tea and coffee set with wet blue, gilt and jeweled borders retailed by Soane & Smith, a Tuscan china tea set and a Cottage Derby tea set (one shelf). Meissen dishes both free from chips, cracks and repair. The gilding or bronzing is unusual, perhaps later done and has not survived well. The snake handled cup marked Victoria, Austria is free from damage and repair but has gilt wear.
A Moorcroft Golden Artist pattern vase, impressed factory marks and nib date stamp 2003, numbered 23/50, 16cm a pair of Staffordshire cats, 27cm and a boxed Spode Ming pattern cream jug and sugar bowl. Moorcroft in good condition. Spode in good condition. Cats both crazed, with gilt wear and slight chipping to the very tips of the ears.
Collection of antique pottery and porcelain plates to include pair of Spode 2384 pattern plates 8.5" diameter and dishes, pair of French Lm & Cie Creil & Monteraeu caricature plates, Pekin H&K saucer, Coalport cabine plate, polychrome Chinese plate and small floral lobed dish; also a French faience bowl decorated with a lady within polychrome borders (faults and stapled repairs various to majority of the plates)
PEARLWARE BASKET a early 19thc basket with a blue and white transfer printed design to the interior and rim (unmarked, 22cms across), also with a small Spode rectangular dish with elephants and other animals to the rim, the centre with a small boat and town scene (damaged, 18cms across), a lidded tureen with exotic buildings and figures (with ladle, not matching), and a circular lidded bowl with a large house within a landscape and sheep grazing (damages). 19THC SPODE POT POURRI & COVER painted with two panels of flowers and foliage, on a dark blue and heavily gilded ground. With paw feet and with a dome top cover. Painted marks, Spode 1709. 13.5cms high. Also with a 19thc vase painted with a panel of flowers on a purple ground 13.5cms high, Pattern 1051, and a 19thc lidded urn with square base, painted with various flowers and with a pineapple shaped finial, 20cms high (unmarked).
