A collection of various china wares to include a 19th Century Chinese famille-rose miniature teapot of pear form, the main body decorated with figures and panels of script, 8.5 cm high, together with a Chinese famille-rose tea bowl and similar saucer, a pair of Derby "Japan" pattern miniature vases with mask decorated handles, the main bodies decorated with birds amongst blossom, 14.8 cm high, a set of four Spode oxide red and gilt decorated coffee cans, two matching teacups and sucrier (no lid), No'd. to base on some "976" and two mother-of- pearl coffee spoons CONDITION REPORTS The miniature teapot - the lid has a chip, otherwise some losses to the enamel. The famille rose tea cup and saucer - the cup has significant hairline fractures and is discoloured throughout. The saucer has a star crack to base. One of the pair of Japan pattern vases has a significant chip to the rim. Both have wear to the gilding, particularly to the masks to the handles. All four coffee cans have hairline fractures, three running right the way through, as well as damage to the handles and significant wear to the gilding throughout. The pair of tea cups - one has a hairline fracture. Both have significant wear to the gilding and decoration throughout. Sucrier missing its lid together with significant hairline fracture running through the body as well as significant wearing to the gilding. The two mother of pearl spoons have some slight chipping to the edges and are in need of a good clean. All items have wear and tear conducive with age and use. The Spode set very heavy wear and tear. All items are in need of a good clean and have wear to the decoration, surface scratches etc - see images for more details

A large early 20th century Wedgwood blue jasperware baluster form vase, relief decorated with figures and landscapes, height 30cm, also a pair of Copeland Spode 'Florentine' pattern jugs, decorated with figures amongst scrolling foliage, both height 21.5cm, and a late 18th/early 19th century hand painted porcelain sparrow beak jug (possibly early Worcester), height 16.5cm (4).
A late 19th century Copeland porcelain Cockatoo, circa 1882, with coloured glass eyes and textured naturalistic coloured plumage, modelled standing upon a porcelain perch, the perch with incised stamp ‘Copeland’ beneath an indistinct mark, the whole set within a foliate-decorated gilt-metal hoop formed into a four-branch chandelier surmounted by a bat emblem; the cockatoo measures 51cm high, the diameter of the hoop is approximately 53cm, light fitting branches have been misshapen and one branch is separate but present. Provenance: it has been in the vendor’s family since early 1900s. The Spode Museum Trust has made the following comments about this Copeland Cockatoo: ‘An entry in Copeland’s 1882 factory price list for statuary porcelain under the miscellaneous category states: Cockatoo, fitted with Copper Suspender. China Coloured Naturally. £1. 5s. 0d. Copeland’s catalogue photograph states that the bird measures 20 inches in height (51cm). The copper suspender measures 21½inches across (55cm). Your example appears to have a replacement fitting (American?) converting it into some sort of light fitting.’
