A group of late eighteenth century blue and white transfer-printed Spode vases/jars, c.1795. They are printed with the Boy on a Buffalo pattern and two of them have added gilded details. Two with workman's marks. 17 - 22 cm tall. (3)Condition: Small gilded vase with restored chips to foot, non-gilded vase with three chips to foot, chippings to opening with associated 2cm hairline. Provenance: From the Trevor Kentish collection.
A group of late eighteenth century blue and white transfer-printed vases, c.1795. Two are by Spode and decorated with the Boy on a Buffalo pattern and the third is decorated with the Chinaman with a Rocket pattern. 9 - 14 cm tall. (3)Condition: Small Buffalo vase has six small restored foot rim chips, Rocket vase has a restored break to the rim. Provenance: From the Trevor Kentish collection.
An early nineteenth century blue and white transfer-printed Spode Milkmaid pattern coffeepot, c.1825. It is printed to both sides and the lid with a lady milking a cow and is marked to the underside. 24 cm tall. (1)Condition: Lid with restored rim chip and chips to the inner flange that have gone yellow. Body with restored foot rim chip, spout end and two 3cm cracks from the rim.Provenance: From the Trevor Kentish collection.
