Battle of Britain, United Artists (1969) - Original script, related Production documents and Memorabilia - includes, Original film script, printed by Scripts Limited, London, dated February 26, 1968 on first page, blue card covers with metal brads, ownership name of publicist, John Willis, in ink, and printed RAF insignia on front cover, 602 typescript pages with pink, blue and yellow revision pages and a one-page Roll Up list bound in at end; a lever arch file, two black folders and a buff colour card folder containing a quantity of production notes, publicity documents, biographies, and several typescript interviews with members of the cast, crew and advisors to the film, including Bader (Sir Douglas) & Townsend (Group Captain Peter) Guy Hamilton (Director) Skeets Kelly (aerial cameraman) Sir Ralph Richardson, Harry Saltzmann (Producer) Sqn. Ldr. Derek St. John Homer (piloting Spitfire) Sir Laurence Olivier, Squadron Leader Ginger Lacey, Edward Fox, Curt Jurgens, Kenneth More, Christopher Plummer, Sir Michael Redgrave, Robert Shaw, and others; an Order of Service for Laurence Olivier's Memorial held at Westminster Abbey, 1991; a small group of related books and magazines; a sealed boxed Battle of Britain Limited Edition DVD, Book and Print Gift Set; a group of eleven publicity photographs, various sizes, the largest 15 ½ x 11 ¾ inches; a boxed Royal Airforce Spode Fine China plate, designed by Harold Holdway, numbered 58 of an edition of 5000 produced for the Royal Airforce to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of its formation in 1918; Battle of Britain Original Soundtrack LP Album, United Artists Records, 1969; a group of three photographs, depicted a Spitfire, Messerschmitt ME 109, and a Heinkel twin bomber in flight, 25 x 19 inches overall, framed and glazed (the Spitfire without glaze); together with, a watercolour on board, depicted aircraft in formation, 29 x 17 inches overall. (Qty). Provenance: The Collection of John Willis, Publicity Director for Disney, Columbia, United Artists, The Rank Organisation, and 20th Century Fox from 1960-1972. Willis worked on Casino Royale (1967) and several other films in the James Bond series, as well as films such as The Battle of Britain, Heroes of Telemark, Living Free, and In Search of Castaways.
A Spode Porcelain Bachelors Teapot and Cover, circa 1830, pattern 3756, together with a Spode sucrier and cover moulded and painted with flowers and a quantity of Coalport teawares of a similar date (one tray)Teampot - restored handle. Sucrier - crazed. Milk Jug - rubbed. Saucer - chipped. One teacup with a repaired handle, the remaining cups and saucers with some mild rubbing, otherwise OK.

A group of 19th century ceramics, comprising Worcester gilded 2-handled urn, with hand painted panel depicting Montpellier Spa Cheltenham by Doe & Rogers, height 20cm (handles repaired), 3 various hand painted spill vases, and a pair of 18th century blue and white transfer leaf design pickle dishes, length 15cm2-handled vase - both handles have been broken and re-glued poorly, no other damage. Vase with flared rim - good condition, gilding around base rubbed. Cylindrical vase with fruit and flowers - slightly stained, no chips or cracks. Smallest vase is Spode - light staining but no damage. Pickle dishes - both have small rim chips, 1 has chip on the foot, no cracks or restoration
