This is only approx 6mm x 3mm and has no impact on the plate. A couple of tiny imperfections to the glaze in production but basically in good condition. This is not currently featured in any literature.

A Copeland Late Spode caneware game tureen or pie dish of flared oval form, with relief decoration of game hanging from branches and hunting trophies, the cover with quail finial, complete with glazed liner, brown printed factory marks to all pieces, 6¼in. (15.8cm.) high, liner cracked, chip to inner rim. *Condition: Liner cracked and with some discoloured crazing to glaze. Chip to underside of inner rim. One miniscule frit to edge of cover.
