Various 18th, 19th century and later pottery and porcelain jugs, to include a Staffordshire jug with coloured print titled 'The Sailor's Farewell', depicting a sailor to the front and the rhyme within a floral garland to the back, height 11.5cm, a Sunderland-style lustre pottery cream jug with wide spout and shaped handle, with pink lustre ladies and garden scene, height 12.5cm, a Coalport reproduction of the Caughley Mask-Head Jug, 'originally produced about 1770', height 18cm, a Spode 'Glendale' pattern jug reproduced from the illustrations in the company archives, height 8cm, length 11cm, a Portmaster gilt-heightened jug with fluted body and a Furnivals Denmark patterned water jug, height 15.5cm (10).
Thirteen items of late 18th and early 19th century Imari decorated teaware, cups, saucers and coffee cans, to include Coalport, Minton, Spode (pattern no.1220 in red) and various other examples, comprising one cup and matching saucer, three coffee cans, four teacups, and four miscellaneous saucers (13). Condition Report: Any attribution to the maker is either because the item is marked with factory markings, pattern numbers that correspond, or attributed by the late owner who had a passion for collecting 18th and 19th century porcelain. We cannot guarantee the authenticity of the attribution. As with age, some items may have signs of wear, scratches, hairlines or chips. A Spode 'Aesop's Fables' dinner service, circa 1840, printed in black, comprising a soup tureen, cover and stand, two vegetable dishes and covers, one sauce tureen, stand and a Copeland cover, one platter and a pierced drainer, another platter, twelve soup bowls, twelve dinner plates and twelve dessert plates (43)One tureen base remnants of old sellotape. A Coalport Anstice Horton and Rose tea and coffee service, circa 1810 – 20, with some Spode replacements, painted with oval panels of roses within gilded swags, comprising a teapot, cover and stand, sucrier and cover, milk jug, slop bowl, two saucer dishes, eleven teacups, ten coffee cans and twelve saucers (41) See further images for condition. 5 cups have hairline cracks, one with old repair. Two large plates are crazed. Jug handle is crazed, lid of sucrier also crazed. Small chips to the rims of 5 or 6 of the cups.

A pair of Spode jardinieres and stands, circa 1805, painted en grisaille with rustic landscapes, gilt rims, fixed gilt ring handles, 12.5cm high Provenance: One jardinière and stand, purchased from Law, Foulsham & Cole on 24 April 1935 for £4.10s, the other purchased in 1937 Bonhams, Trelissick House, 23 – 24 July 2013, lot 443 One of them has small niggles around the footrim of the actual jardiniere. Usual slight rubbing to gilding.
