Spode part coffee and tea service, 19th century, painted and lustered on the gilt lined white ground with birds and insects, comprising: oval teapot (lid missing), sugar basin and cover, three coffee cans; two tea cups and three saucers together with a large early Victorian blue and white 'India Temple' stone china water jug, decorated with a continuous oriental river scene approx 30 cms h. Note: formerly from Glympton Park Woodstock Oxford.
Part Spode 'Fespar' dessert set, 19th century, comprising bowl, oblong dish, one shallow dish and five side plates, pale yellow ground finely painted with flowers incuding crocus, passion flowers, tulips, roses, foxgloves, poppies. This would have formed part of a rather extensive set. This lot includes a Grainger Worcester cream jug circa 1885, approx 10 cms h. Condition ReportSome minor gilding loss, a hairline crack to the circular serving dish. The colours are overall still bright and beautiful.
