A group of early nineteenth century blue and white transfer-printed plates, c. 1810-20. To include: Minton Queen of Sheba, Spode Grasshopper with Lattice Scroll border variation, Long Bridge and Ornate Pagodas. 21 - 25 cm wide. (5)Condition: Grasshopper with long hairline, all the others with some small rim chips.
Nine Spode bone china dessert plates and dishes, c1812-c1828, various shapes, including Dresden Embossed, Dolphin Embossed, Hexagonal and Amherst, painted or otherwise decorated with flowers, a pair of Spode rose bordered saucers, a Spode armorial water plate and a Copeland and Garrett bat printed dessert dish, impressed or printed marks, painted patter numbers (13) Water plate with old restoration to rim and localised wear. Hexagonal plate chipped. Pair of bat printed plates both worn, one cracked. The other items in good condition
Miscellaneous Spode and other English and Continental pottery and porcelain ornamental ware, to include a Coalport cobalt ground campana vase, c1820, painted with panels of flowers, 14cm h, an oval Spode basket moulded pink ground inkwell, c1820, a Spode ring handled vase, c1810 with red and gilt chrysanthemums on a vivid green ground, a Staffordshire cobalt ground scent bottle and flower domed stopper, c1840 and a 19th c Continental claret ground bough pot (16) Spode basket inkwell handle restored. Spode two handled green ground vase - one handle restored. Coalport campana vase with light wear to gilding mainly on foot, the other items in generally good condition or with small faults
Two trays of mostly Spode Italian design blue and white china to include; jugs, teacups, saucers, sandwich plates, centre bowl, pin trays etc, together with the Spode 'Old Water mill' footed comport limited edtion no. 29/950, the Blue room collection 'Grandmother' trinket dish in original box, Spode 'Blue Italian' meat plate, a Spode commemorative pill box etc. (2)(B.P. 21% + VAT)
Collection of mostly blue and white china to include; four Staffordshire Willow pattern meat plates of various sizes, Willow design butter dish, Copeland Spode Italian bowl and cheese dish, blue and white oriental design lidded soup tureen, five soup plates and three plates 'Plum Bossom' shallow bowls, small oriental blue and white porcelain tea bowl and various dresser jugs etc. Provenance Margaret Bide Collection. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Bowl appears good. Cheese lid has cracks and crazing visible internally and chip to top (see pics), base has small chip to edge but otherwise appears good. Large meat dish - fairly large chip to underside and small chip by the drainage well. One Staffordshire meat dish has crack extending from centre to rim. Other Staffordshire has couple of cracks and chips and evidence of restoration. Imperia China meat dish - no obvious damage but dull sound. Butter dish has glazed chip to rim and small chip internally. 'Soup tureen' is very shallow and has four small cracks running from the rim. Crazing to glaze. Several tiny chips to internal base. Lid has no obvious damage. Small chips, cracks and wear to most of the jugs, one has crack to the handle. Five soup plates have signs of wear but no major damage except for one which has large chip to front and several chips to underside of rim. Three plates - one has been broken in two and repaired and is also chipped, another has chip to underside of rim, the third has no obvious damage. All have crackling to glaze. A porcelain Loving Cup, exhibition loan note inside says 'painted in enamel colours and decorated with gilding, Swansea, about 1814-1817', 13cm; a Crown Derby Imari pattern 383 jug, 1887 date mark, 8cm; a small Copeland Spode 'Chelsea' pattern lidded tureen; a Stanley & Sons blue and white wash basin; plus other porcelain, pewter and Royal commemorative items.

No obvious major chips or cracks.
SPODE; a blue and white plate, 'Death of the Bear', impressed and printed marks verso, diameter 25cm, together with three further blue and white plates (4).Additional InformationCrazing throughout, the Etruscan shield with a chip to the foot rim, remains of Blu-tac to the edges of the rims. Staining to each of the two smaller plates, also minor rim nicks.
Seven 19th century blue and white plates, various makers to include Adams, Spode, etc.Additional InformationCrazing and wear throughout, the Adams plate with an old repaired crack. Staining is apparent to a number of examples, the example decorated with Oriental figures with numerous chips to the edge. The Kirkstall Abbey example with crack.
