A SPODE PORCELAIN PART TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, c.1800, bat printed with pattern No.1922, with figures at various pursuits including a tea party, begger, sowing seeds, kite flying and hunting, comprising twelve saucers, eleven tea cups, two coffee cans, teapot, cover and stand, slop basin, milk jug, sucrier and cover and two graduated saucer dishes, variously marked (32) (Est. plus 21% premium inc. VAT)8 1/4" saucer dish cracked with loss at rim, 7 1/4" saucer dish old soldered repair to rim with loss, five saucers have a more allegorical appearance (harp playing, chariot in sky etc), teapot stand (7 3/4" wide), has obvious firing crack near rim, 7" wide, sucrier stained and discoloured. A Flight Barr and Barr coffee can and saucer, circa 1815, decorated in the Royal Lily pattern within gilt banded borders, impressed marks, the saucer 14.2cm diameter, the can 6.2cm high, with three further porcelain coffee cans, circa 1810-1820 (5) CONDITION REPORT:The coffee can and saucer show rubbing to the gilt highlights, but no obvious chips, cracks, repairs or restoration.The Newhall coffee can shows a repair to the rim.The Spode coffee can shows a star crack to the base.
