A group of Spode porcelain and an English porcelain match-pot, c.1815, the Spode pieces with red marks, decorated with pattern 1166, the dark-blue ground with gilt scale ornament and reserved with flowers and gilt mons, the match pot of stepped cylindrical form, 10.5cm high; the pen-tray with gilt lion’s paw feet, 24.7cm long; the baluster cabinet jug, 13.7cm high; a circular bowl or stand, 13.2cm diameter; the ‘image handled’ cup with a gilt and blue winged female handle, 7.8cm high; and the English porcelain gold-ground match pot of flared form, the ground reserved with flowers between bands of gilt ivy, on a waisted socle foot, 10.1cm high (6)Provenance: The match pot: The Contents of Trelissick House including the Copeland China Collection sale, Bonhams; 23 July 2013, lot 596.
