AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY SPODE JAPAN PATTERN IMARI TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, pattern No.1823, comprising teapot and stand, cream jug, covered twin handled sucrier, slop bowl, slop bowl saucer and a larger saucer dish, ten tea cups, nine coffee cans, nine saucers, most pieces marked with pattern number only (35) (condition: some damage, one tea cup cracked and has a stapled repair, slop bowl has a vertical crack with crack in the rim above and spreading shaped crack, small chip to the outer rim, sucrier lid has a small chip to the underside, firing fault in rim by handle of sucrier, large saucer dish has a crack running from rim vertically towards the foot, one saucer with two cracks from the rim, one coffee can has a stained crack through the base, another has a chip on the outer rim and a crack to inner rim, another has a small firing crack in the rim, teapot spout chipped to rim, general condition some light gilding loss)

An extensive Spode creamware dinner service decorated in the Chinese trophies pattern Condition Report: One Tree-and-well meat plate and dish of same size in good condition, other large tree-and-well meat plate and matching size dish cracked. Second largest size dish with stained crazing, third size dish cracked. Smallest three dishes only one having a rim chip. Both soup tureens and covers are overall in good condition, one base has a faint star crack to the side but only visible from interior. The stands in overall good condition, one having a short hairline rim crack. Three footed circular dishes and only two pierced covers- both covers with several hairline cracks and one with a small rim chip. The bases all with some glaze staining, one has a short hairline rim crack. two sauce tureen stands (tureens lacking) one having hairline crack to footrim. 13 Soup plates - 10 in lovely condition, 2 cracked, 1 restored (badly). Dinner plates - 15 in good usable condition, 6 undamaged but stained, 1 restored, 9 cracked, 4 chipped. 9 starter/dessert plates in good usable condition, one with a small rim chip (all the buff/green ground colouring) 4 cracked and 7 stained (all in the lighter green colouring)
