A Part Spode Bone China Dinner Service, Early 19th Century, painted and printed with "Willis" pattern (Indian Tree), with black printed mark and pattern number painted in red, comprising - nineteen 9.75ins plates, four 8.125ins plates, rectangular serving dish 11.25ins x 8ins, bowl 9.62ins, octagonal serving dish 17ins x 12.5ins, pair of octagonal serving dishes 12.25ins x 9ins, pair of rectangular serving dishes 10ins x 7ins, and a pair of sauce tureens, cover and stands All have some light scattered wear to green (grass) enamel. All have some typical light scattered scratches. Single bowl broken into several pieces and badly restuck. One large plate with shallow chip to inside of rim. One sauce tureen stand with hairline crack from rim to foot ring.

Overall there is a general consistency of surface dirt and light wear including scratches, the colours of the enamels have faded or been worn away on a few pieces, and some others have perceptible firing flaws. Specific damages are listed as follows: One of the two large octagonal meat platters has a dirt-filled crack running through the middle. The large two handled footed dish has an old dirt-filled chip to one handle. The rectangular cover for one tureen has an old-repaired finial with several visible dirt-filled cracks. One sauce boat and stand have cracks through the middle. Of the nineteen large soup bowls, nine have hairline cracks or flat chips to the rims. Of the sixty-two dinner plates, twenty-three have hairline cracks or chips to the rims. Of the twenty-seven side plates, one is broken in half and ten have hairline cracks or flat chips to the rim.
